i have never had the pleasure of smoking deep chunk..and my exp w socal is still somewhat limited....though the one i have flowering is looking quite impressive! and appears to be seeded...
-actually it seems the pollen took on all 4 of the girls i hit w the c99...it is obvious on the gdp...fukn thing had seeds starting to form day before yesterday...what is that? 4 days since getn hit? crazy...the others appear to have seeds forming...but much smaller and further behind...i am excited...got a lil nervous after albert pretty much blew pollen off last run(though im up to 5 seeds now!-two having survived a grinder scare
)anyways...snap some pics tonight when the sun comes up....

ya, of all the strains ive grown from seed the DC was by far the slowest vegging... After 3 months of veg they got to be about a foot or so tall. I had 5 going, and all were very very similar in growth. I was unfortunately never able to flower them out, a real bummer, cause some exciting projects were planned with those boys and girls.
I would think SOCAL MK x DC (or i guess dc x socal if you were reversing the MK)
I think this cross would be good if you wanted a deep strong indica, or if you were looking for possibly a good strain for SOG.
Who knows, maybe you would get some f1 hybrid vigor, but i would be pretty certain that it would be a retardedly slow cross
I like the idea of a chemdawg x socal mk if you were to use some type of reversal, those two seem like a good match up IMO

interestingly enough the original seed producers must have thought so as well. When I purchased the seeds it was known as purple widow, now its known as purple white widow. Im with you ST and it still doesn't accurately describe what you're going to get - so yeah, thai widow haze may have just become its new name to alleviate confusion later.

socal masterkush hit w c99 pollen...also 31ish... the first two pics are of the cola..wasnt supposed to get polly'd...looks like a single drop right on the tip! ha..the third pic made me run into my room w scissors looking for pm til i realized my stoned ass was lookin at pollen! ha...fuckin hash...

Nah, I goofed em up.
I was pushing veg nutes too hard. That cleared up and they were transplanted and accidentally pushed a bit hard on the phosphorus - reused media wasn't flushed quite enough.
I've been leaning down my mix, I was top watering - now Im using a flood method which apparently is much more effective in watering and nute delivery, my new nutrient doses are only 40% of what I was using..
