I can't stress enough the need for 2 hard drives or partitioning. Should always run a partition for your media/personal data.
Sorry you lost your pics :badday:

 Nice leaf! If that's the worst of your worries...you have few

Looking forward to the full update...finally :lurk:

Well the truth of the matter is I had my multimedia on a seperate partition from vista, then I tried to downgrade from vista to xp (mainly due to the problems mentioned by ghetto grower) and during the reinstallation process of xp and formatting of partition c, somehow something messed up and corrupted partition d. Now I'm not entirely sure it was the downgrade that corrupted it or the hard-drive actually failing, but I've got a new one now running xp with an external usb hd as backup :) I've tried to recover the data but the disk is showing bad sectors all over the shop :badday:

So I blame Vista for being rubbish and forcing me into the whole downgrade :biglaugh: I took new photos today so expect some later. Oh well, a new year and a clean slate and all that. At least I've still got my memories, if not the photographic evidence.

update wooo

update wooo

It's been a while since I've posted an update of the flowering tent. (Actually the last photos were on the 1st of day of flowering and january so it's been 24 days!!)

This is how they looked then:

And this is now:

Day 24
Cheese #2

Cheese #4

Now there's some oddities here. For one, Cheese #4 is twice the size of Cheese #2! As a consequence of running my lights during the night I don't get much time in the garden whilst I'm working so normally these girls would have been tied down.

Secondly, Is that leaf structure down to genetics of the strain or is it (as I suspect) over-feeding with the nutes? Anyone care to offer an opinion?

Sweet Tooth #3

Sweet Tooth #1

First Bud Porn of 2008!! :D These gals are pretty squat and are super dense compared to the BB Cheese. Enjoy everyone

Looks like you've taken the lead in the flowering race with me Sammet... I'm only at day 8 I think. Anyway... as far as you asking about the leaf structure being genetic, it might be. If you look in my picture below, my cheese plant in the back left is doing a weird curly thing too that looks like too much nitrogen... except I haven't given it any nutes other than the soil I transplanted it into about 3 weeks ago. So it could be a common to the big buddha cheese... or we both could have screwed something up.

I'll try to get a better picture of that plant for you soon. I also now realize how freaking tall these babies are gonna get.

:yoinks: I can't believe how much growth we missed! :yoinks:

They are looking exceptional for their age and maturing nicely

Your Cheese #4 is really taking on some sativish traits, and stretching like that...I hope you have the space :ying:

I never noticed before...is that one of them monster 250W CFL's in there with your HID? :chin:

Too bad your hdd recovery didn't go so well  At least you put in the effort

Thanks for the porn :lurk:

Rollin Face - the lst for the gals in the flowering tent was abandoned due to neglect whilst I was working but the mums are still lsting. If you're refering to the photos from before the last update, they're the mum tent.

Queso - cheers mate - I'm still thinking it might be overdose on the EJ Grow but the buds seem to be filling in nicely so I'm not sure the girls mind too much :)

TML  - funny you mention that CFL. Yea it was a 250w blue spectrum envirolight that I had spare but after taking photos this morning I knocked it and it broke. :cuss:

So I was thinking of getting a replacement.. then started dreaming a bit... and wondered if I could fit a vertical 250W MH in there instead. What do you guys think?

That is a nuts amount of growth dude, I was expecting to see some vegging plants

Crazy

That tall one is nuts man, huge plant, going to need to stake that up when she starts putting on weight.

Too bad about the light man, I bump into my vertical cfl almost daily, I believe she is still kicking, as I got home after lights out, so I have no idea

Keep up the good work man

is that some frost I am seeing?

Sativas dont like too much from what Ive heard. Keep it up tho, they look great. Howz the smell on them?? I recently smoked some CheeseWreck(cheesextrainwreck), and the smell/taste was unmistakable, very hard to describe, but def. Cheesy!!...Later mate!!!

At the moment theres a pungent smell coming from the tent, it kind of reminds me of coffee grounds but it's still early days and isn't too strong. Josh - they're going to be flowered as long as they take ;) I expect them go another 5 weeks if not longer but all depends on the trichomes :D (yea DD there's a tiny bit of frost on the Sweet Tooth leaves already).

Anyone remember these two mums? (Oasis and Green Spirit) - well one of the clones had roots shooting out of the peat puck today so there will be some new photos up tomorrow :D

My first clones :joint: I'm stoked that I've got roots after 4 days, 1 down - 3 more to root. I'm wondering why I've been using beens all these years :bashhead: Until then

ps. thanks to everyone for visiting the shindig, photos will be more regular from now on - I promise!! :D

Nice sammet. Clones are very fun to play with. You will at least already know the potential end result.I am kinda the opposite. I am liking the growing from seed thing more and more these days. I am forever on that ultimate mom search.

Since they've decided to impose a rediculously small maximum photo size I'll now be hosting my photos elsewhere. :badday: It would be fine by me if they were running out of space, but everyone still has the same 150mb gallery size.

So here's a test:

Here's a Green Spirit clone, another popped out some roots today. Still nothing on the Oasis front.

And here's a better photo of the Sweet Tooth (#3) - as you can see it's going to have one very very large cola :D
