Hi Gogin Diddle. Yea it’s a 1k in a tube in a reflector. And it’s Real Gorilla Glue by Barney’s Farms. And I hear ya. I like hps. Mabey some day Il like leds but rite now I just don’t. Ya don’t hardly see nice big buds anymore. Nice little sparkley ones but no big ones.

I have a theory's why you say that.....1 is LED's have awesome even light distribution. That leads to many uniform sized buds...not some very large ones up top and the rest get smaller as you go down the plant.
This is a advantage in my opinion. Large buds can easily lead to botrytis. I believe you get a more uniform end product all through the canopy. I used to get larf down low if I did not prune like mad with hps/mh. Now I get rock hard buds that are 46" from the light at the edge of the canopy with less watts of LED so that's a improvement for me as well.
I respect that you are rocking the HPS...I did many wonderful runs under them. Quality can be had for sure with them.
Peace, negative.

Yea this is way way different than what I was doing. Il get some pics up of my old system out west. I used to run 600’s one on top of another and I didn’t get any larf. I just gotta adjust to tying down instead of back. Mater fact Il put up a pic no. This is what I was doing in la grange

Could anyone tell me how long yous let the GG run? I’m gonna go 9 wks. They’re filling in nice now. And they’re at about 7.5 wks now.

Thanks Negative! How are mine looking? This grows different than anything I ever ran. I ran with Sugar Shack for a number of years and then Blue Dream also for a number of years. I’m just a little concerned they might not fill in.

You are doing a super job. They will fill in enough to give you some super buds. They may be a little smaller but they will be filled out well by harvest. Thanks for sharing your growing skills and hard work. 😎

I meant that it does not get real big buds. The clone only gg4 is not a stacker. So you get spaced out smaller buds. It has a lot of Sativa in it. So not big football colas, but golf balls on a string.
Here is a pic.
gg4 golf balls 1 - Copy.jpg
So how they space themselves out instead of stacking hard like a Indy? The Glue really stretches in that first 3 weeks of 12/12. I think this was about day 60. Of course you have a completely different animal there than me. Bud structure is very different than the original. Whats the terps like right now? Mine reeks hard of gas and fuel.
Peace, negative.
PS...I see nanners in that second pic...you got herm issues??

And I see how your buds seem more solid. I didn’t really know GG4 was a clone only when I got my beans. Your flowers are beautiful!

I took a couple pics of some outside lower buds. The one on the napkin was a larf to microwave for a teazer. They all pretty much look cloudy and even milky to me.
