I was making my morning batch of super fudge (if anybody wants the recipe its awesome!)... anyway, I got to wondering if using raw honey, instead of molasses, might be better? Im not going to list the whole nutritional profile right now, but its got a lot of vit. and minerals, similar to molasses. Also:
Different varietals of honey possess a large amount of friendly bacteria (6 species of lactobacilli and 4 species of bifidobacteria), which may explain many of the "mysterious therapeutic properties of honey."
Im no expert on bacteria, but maybe somebody with more know might be able to help me out a little here.
Also I was using raw cacao powder, which is a great super food for us, containing lots of antioxidants, magnesium, iron, etc (no sodium or sugars). Maybe top dressing with some cacao??
I dont know, maybe my morning bowl is stretchin my mind a little bit both of these seem like they might have potential! Anybody ever use either?
