Pure haze , 120 days .......

This almost pure haze was an extreme from a recent sucessfull MountainHigh test grow.

These were taken at 120 days and the plant is still cropping at 145+ with no signs of fully stopping.

Yield is very low but the quality of the smoke is astounding , a strong confidant rush with heightened senses and clear focused thoughts as if a fog was lifted from your brain.

Taste is intense sweet floral and a little goes a long way , very much like a confectionary called Palma violets from way back and almost too sweet.

I smoke a lot of sativas and Haze crosses but nothing has ever come close to the targetted high from this and will be searching out similar if a little faster.

Anybody else have any skinny girls on the go ?

Gee, now I understand why some strains would get crossed for an increased yield lol. The quality sounds perfect but I don't think any potency can make up for that harvest lol. No offense, I still would love just to even sample some of that :smoke:

Yield will be around 50 gramme when all done over around 160 days flower.
Stood very low sidelighting squashed into a corner and was no trouble to grow so could be fitted in with existing plants in some rooms on 12/12.

This thread covers the Haze 2008 and KHaze which produced some wonderfull plants of high yield and much faster flower times than this extreme one.

Almost wish i had not grown it out , nothing with any yield is likely to come close and everything else seems a little boreing now.
Hopefully it will do well in a south faceing conservatory and yield enougth for the odd blast and special ocassions , have crossed it to a Geisha male which is starting to prove its worth and expect some serious and fruity variety from the seed.

I want this high in a more normal plant form with more defined buds that yields decent and finishes properly and faster.

This weed makes you very optimistic as well !

You know Sativa this and Haze that. I used to laugh at these yields finish times. Imagine waiting over 120days for that much herb. This stuff had better be good cause people that showed me their outdoor sativa elbow. this is a tiny tiny amount after waiting so long and even if it where incredibly strong would not last average chronic long at all.Can even see why someone would cross it with a White Widow.

Looks nice foomar, I love those highs that have that clear and energetic rush with the first hit. I'n hoping to find something similar in the congo's that I got going.

You might want to think about using your geisha cross and back-crossing it to your pure haze a few time. Hell it would take a lot of work to increase yields and keep the high, but it is definitely doable if you want to put in the time. A few generations and I'm sure you'll increase yield 10 fold after seeing those pics.

The high sounds absolutely wonderful though...

Nice work,

Let a Zamal cross go to 260+ so used to the long haul with the oddball ones now and again.
This reminds me of some imported pale stringy weed circa 1980 and an ageing local hippy agrees on the similarity.

Brain seems sharp but cannot remember where i left the tripod so well fuzzy picture , long thin stems with tiny capitate heads about 15 micron , around a third amber and a few black.

Harvesting individual branches after at least four flushes of trichomes which occur every ten days , plant ripening from the bottom up.

Yield really is not important to me as i do not sell so happy to take a chance on anything , most interesting plants do not crop heavily so this is not too bad esp placed on the edge of a grow in otherwise unused space at 30 watts/foot or less.

If it were sold it would have premium value and achieve £10 a gramme locally no problem , an ounce would fill a shoebox and a gramme looks quite impressive by itself.

Have a couple of other seedings with the Geisha male to try out already so will probably mass plant them all in June and retrieve the best at the end of the outdoor season and see what turns up and is worth finishing indoors.

Smoked a gramme about six hours ago and whilst the high is long gone still feel more alive and focused than i have for a long time and that kind of feeling is worth pursueing.

You win the award for most patience for least yield. But the thing is, you've created a gem, from something I would have just killed. Spectacular trichs

AMAZING LOOKING PLANT!

Ahhhh I would love to grow something like that.>

PATIENce is a VIRTUE!! For sure brotha!

Haha, I love the way it looks, Like a petite hot brunette, you just wanna do the dirty dirty with. Muahaha

this would be amazing if it yielded more and finished faster....maybe cross with something like ssh *my favorite sative :D

but nonetheless that shit must be rediculously potent ... im sure it will reward you with amazing quality but at a cost of a low yield

Nicely done, Foomar!

Looks similar to that 'Quaze' type bud seen here before...

I find it personally interesting that you stated this pheno has a distinct floral flavor/scent profile- I've never sampled Palma violets but I can only imagine a too sweet flower...

I'm running a batch of DJ Short's Flo, including clones of the Flo Mother (released to med clubs) and I am trying to select sativa leaning phenos for a backcross to the Mom...

It's all about the high! I'd hit that...

You have a great calm about you to be able to grow out such a nice Haze. I was working on a lot of Sativa project but put them to the side for over a year and have now just recently started reworking them. I have a "PURE" Thai that goes 20-Weeks, and have a HAZE project that goes forever also, the HAZE project gives a better yield then your Haze, but I bet you have a better, longer, up, head high.

Thank you sincerely for posting up that picture and giving that small smoke report. Not many people do smoke reports or grow diaries on PURE/TRUE Sativas or Haze.

Would a plant like this yield better in a ScrOG setup like some other tall skinny girls? If the high is as good as it sounds, a little more weight to her and this girl would be perfect! Good job on the buds man, and the patience.

Foomar--
Congrats on your girl. Sounds like she has a fantastic high. I love those 'one of' plants that give you something truly unique. IMO, yield is somewhat unimportant when you are growing just for yourself and have the space to do multiple plants.

Thanks for the positive comments , i reckon many growers could fit one in in a corner and would enjoy growing something similar out at least once.

Found some very similar in Sams haze cross freebies and will be growing out some seed i made from them useing a skinny male to find another , easy to spot in veg as the ones you would normally cull.

Topped her of at 170 days flowertime and dried out to a cumulative total of 58 grammes , guesstimate another 10 gramme or so pulled off and sampled through the grow unweighed so yield not too bad.

Trained up and sideways in the growroom , total length thirteen feet straightened out , a touch rootbound in a 3.5 litre pot.

The stump with a very few leaves and a couple of shoots has regenerated fast and continued flowering unchanged , despite going from 12/12 to summer daylight hours in a freinds conservatory in a huge pot.

No hermies seen to date , seems very stable given its genetics and might cross out well , will run the Skinny Haze x Geisha soon and have hit branches with pollen from several males for the interest.

This particular plant could be kept going for years and will try to.
