Project EDEN - the COCO-COOP

nice hash pressing there...I also dig reading of your recent undertaking of a new batch of seeds, that is a nice batch of old school goodness you have sprouting, the coco should do em well
shame about the incident with the fallen tray, it will be difficult indeed to sort them out totally accurately when they are in their full flower. It's all about finding a keeper though and in the end it will be as enjoyable a harvest as ever, especially since it is basically a blind sample...
best of luck

i picked up 20 blocks of coco that should give about 9 liters of coco each when uncompressed.. also picked up 50 liters of a nice soil-mix..

but i forgot to buy more nutes!

some thoughts.. i realize im nowadays using less nutes than before - maybe canna have put up the concentracion?? or did i get tired of over feeding hehe :D

peace!

a third ? 40 /3 - 13 ml per liter? sounds very little? are u sure? awesome if it works :D

just thought to add im fluffing up the uncompressed coco with a concrete blender.. a lot quicker than by hand.. to soak about 80 liters worth of coco blocks at one time need a really big container.. i use a 100 liter bin but its messy to get to the bottom when mixing :D

i just transplanted one beeniemans choice that was a female.. and it went to the flowering room. also i transplanted the 2 other plants i didnt transplant yesterday...

so now its 16 confirmed females in 2 x 2 meters..

this far i think the alibi f4 made by MARIJUANAUT is looking absolutelly smashing - its tall as hell and getting a nice branching.. hope its going to fill up nicelly with buds :D its propably going to end up as tall as i am if it keeps stretching like that! looking very good this far :D

i killed a few more males..

also i put away into veg 2 males of ssh x ptk that look promising.. seeds will be made next run - i dont think i feel like it this time.. gotto get a load of smoke.. next run i will put the males to work :D all plans are made allready :D also its a possibility i will wait untill i have selected a nice ssh/PTK x ptk female and male...

over to a strain not really mentioned that much before..

the ECSD X OGK's seem to be one male and one female.. since i didnt have a lot of seeds of this very promising cross - i will make more.. also i remember the words of jim morrison - to search for individuals in the next generation.. well it might get done..

the ecsd x ogk have an extremelly compact structure - maybe the most compact short plants i have ever seen - neither does it have big leafs that shadow a lot - so this might be interesting for indoor.. did i mention the branching? maybe the female looking has close to 15 nodes on 25 cm - so compact i could almost not get to the STEM to rub it to test the scent.

for the moment i dont think i will put much more plants into the flowering room.. i put in 2 more sativas today.. and im presuming the limit is reached - at the moment the plants have a bit of space around them - but i do expect things to get more tight later in flowering..

its getting lesser and lesser hybrids to sex - most part of plants in the veg room are sativas and just a few ssh x lp. amongst the sativas are mangarosa x banghi, congo, verde limon..

the clones of our keeper i made one week back are rooting.. tomorow i will transplant a few of them.. all in all i got way too many - but i promised a mate 10 and an other posibility is a coop member is gonna come down and grab a few.. so im going to be prepared :D anyway - when they are all vegged big and nice - its going to be a nice flowering round with the ones i keep for me!

tomorow i will also transplant all the sativas i can to 6 liter pots. i prefeer to sex plants before a final transplant - the sativas can do very well in smaller containers at times, but some of these are looking a bit weird and only thing wrong could be the small pots they are in... or just old seeds hehehe!

maybe i take and transplant the 2 big moms also... but i think i can wait even more - they DONT look rootbound really.. and they can keep several days without watering.. BUT i want them to get BIG before i flower them..

i dont know if i mentioned i planted an other 7 seeds of SSH/PTK x PTK.. so there is 52 new seeds planted all in all, .. slowly but surelly im going thru em all! :D :D

peace!

then its settled - i thought while i was using 20/20 everything looked great - i just put up the nutes a notch up to 25/25 a few waterings - but its hardly necesary - just gets expensive!

i will NOT water at that strenght that much anymore - and i will NEVER water with stronger than 25/25 - ive done it and payed the consecuences :D

outdoors and with trees - one can stretch the nute strength a bit more.

our big outdoor bushes were getting full nutes at the end and they loved it :D

but with lower light intensity that amount of nutes dont normally dont get used up it seems.. and it creates burns :D

coco honestly holds nutes quite well!

thanks for dropping in mates :D

i just went down and saw one of the clones had nice enough roots to get transplanted.. so i put it in a 3 liter pot,.. should be maybe a nice future mom? roted in 7 days exactly!

the clone is of our keeper the ssh x ptk :D

After that BC I'll bump them up a bit to 5 to 7 ml and every third watering just R/O water with a 6.0 ph and that helps to stop salt build up

wow :D nice!

the cascadia mix looks like a cascadia x PTK or cascadia f2 - but id have to see a pic of the whole plant to know better :D looks ok doesnt it? :D tell me more when you tried it :D any more pics of it? :D

the Sweet&sour diesel looks nice! got a good bud formation! that one is going to end up GIGANTIC it looks like!!!

peace ! :D

here we go....

The buds are rock hard..... Didn't look so but no bad yielder..

The taste is hard to describe.....anything rotten in it.....and a nice stone...not to heavy but quite relaxing....

peace HV

that must be a cascadia x PTK then - only one of the ones used that get very hard nugs.

this far from what ive seen the PTK was very dominant in most crosses. i cant wait to try more of then and now i wish i would have made even more :D i think in general the crosses with PTKbenefit from getting the lowest branches cut - this will make the tops fatten up more. i usually do that with my keeper SSH x PTK from cloneman also.

thanks for psoting pics mate! apreciate it! :D

leonidas - i will from now on water in most cases with 20/20. nowadays at 25/25 the plants get a wee bit too dark..

i have changed a lot my method this last few months, trying to look for a minimum of effort and expense - its suits this method to try to look for lower nute dosages.

im really thankfull for the imput on the nute doses!

peace all!

hehe :D thanks man - its all about the search for the perfect keepers :D

i decided to move my males to an other spot in the house.. just no space hehe :D so 4 males -3 ssh x lp and 1 pandora have gone there..

its a southside room. should have enough light..

also been transpalnting seedlings to 1 liter pots - and also a few clones of ssh x ptk got transplanted..

also i pulled out the pandora male from the flowering room.. i cant believe i thought it was a female! rigth in time.. well its looks nice - smells tremendously nice - and the structure is great.. so lets see if i use her for beans or not...

the flowering room is alrigth.. not too crowded.. but later.. we will see how it gets :D

a few sativas in the back.. (2 on the rigth )

the ESCD x OGK has a structure seldom seen in other plants ive grown.. id dare to say the most COMPACT and BRANCHY plant - this one looks like it could really behave well as a clone - since it grows slow.. could be nice keepers?? well - gotto see if they are females or not first...

the SSH x PTK of the original seeds have some interesting variety in looks... first lets go thru the leaf shape - an other day ill pull em out and have a group pic..

this is the most different pheno i have seen this far of the SSH x PTK - the leaf has NOTHING TO DO WITH PTK..

on this pheno the PTK leaf influence is more evident..

althouh in this one the leaf is more sativa leaning - althought still huge as in the PTK.

later some day ill take pics of a few other PTK crosses - and an other SSH cross made witht he same mom..

also today one beeniemans choice more showed sex.. with the pandora beein a male the count stays at the same - should still be about 16 females in there + 5-7 sativas sexing, and the ecsd x OGK.

most of the seedlings planted last week have sprouted.. soon its full up with clones, seedlings and suddenly it will be time to take clones of the most interesting looking females... OR i might just reveg! with the potent fluoro setup nothing would resist lol :D

well its 4 in the morning.. and other day with 5 hours of work in the growroom..

peace all

yeah man - lets hope its a girl - if not ill just plant more beans - this looks far mroe itneresting than i thought - but as usuall its dificult to say now about that really.. hehe should wait for buds before i talk!

peace mate!
