this pic is from member bob-hope with air pots using coco. after 2 weeks in these it's ready for a transplant. No problem.
i'd recommend smart pots to anyone.

50+ pots. It is more work to empty for sure. Plastic is quicker

It is sweet scooping with the plastic. All my 1gals are plastic for that reason!

The pot in the picture is only a 3ltr AirPot.
The reason why i pot up, in a pot designed to root prune,is due to the vast amount of root growth.
Ime When the plants go into flower in a 3ltr AP it can need watering 2 sometimes 3 times a day, this is time consuming, causes a lot of run off,and is a hassle i don't need.
I also found that if i got caught out by this sudden drying out i then needed to flush a little due to build up of nutes.
