Long time no see Postman, Been a while, got sick of GC about 2 years ago, just now got back, and I see you moved here.... ya know what they say brother.. when in rome...

Hehe yeah it happends... I was so busy watching these seed plants grow so beautifully that I delayed flower about 2-3 weeks longer then I should have Other then the packed tent though, things are growing great.

It seems I'm getting the hang of the coco medium, and the gh flora regimen. The plants seem to be really taking to it well this run. Last run with the chems I saw some cal/mag defficiency, but this run I'm seeing very lil to none of that. Hopefully the second half goes as well...

Haha, I just noticed the bunny composter in ur avatar. Man if only I had a few of them..... I actually grew up on a farm as a kid with a bunch of hairy hippies who kept rabbits. Their shit is like gold when it comes to organic farming... They would dig the shit right out from the bottom of the rabbit pens and plant right in it. All the greens/carots/veggies they didnt eat would fall through and compost in the heap of bunny shit.. Oh man that soil/compost was so fertile...... They'd grow trees in just that with no ferts added throughout the vegg.. Once they started flowering they'd top dress with high p-k compost and that was it... I'll tell ya, I never tasted veggies or marijuana that good.

High post! Things look like they are comming along nicely. I sorta did the same thing(let them veg too long...lol), oh well, like you said..nothing a lil' bending and tying cant fix.

Nice to see someone growing these seeds out. I'll be watching this one for sure. Curious as to how these plants compare to the OE and the TW. I know Head grew out the last of the OE seeds I sent him and found a good male. Then crossed it back to the very same cut I used in the OE project, which is the Arcata cut. Very curious as to how these turn out in the end.

Thanks for the info and sharing your grow with us. I hope everything turns out in the end. Let us know how they smoke and smell. I bet there are a few in there that are close to the TW cut or not far off. Nice job

Sorry I haven't been updating to often.. Been so damn busy with 'life' recently...

All is going good with the garden though. The tw are now right about 33 days into flower, and the trichs are really starting to coat the buds/leaves on a few of the plants. The scent they put off is almost intoxicating it's so dank As far as that goes, they ALL have a similar strong lime-lemon grass nose tingling fuel scent upfront, though it's mixed with a dank almost hashy-earthy hard to describe any other way but funk.. There seems to be a lil variety amongst the ladies as far as phenos go.. Number two looks to be THE 1.. Quickest to flower, has the most solid bud structure of the group as well as the strong scent, and trich covering so far. Numbers 4 unless it produces out of this world sativa smoke will prolly be the one to be scrapped... That one seems to show more thai sativa traits, stretched like crazy, and started flowering much later then her siblings. Great smoke is great smoke though lol and I'll never scrap great bud due to yeild or flower times...number 3 is more like her, though a bit more manageable and her scent is STRONG.. Number 1 is more along the lines of number 2, with a lil less trichs as of right now, though it looks like it will yield the best out of all.

I made some updates to the tent recently... I picked up a cap NextGen digital 400-600 watt ballast (which runs either 400 or 600mh/hps bulbs), a 600watt super hps hortilux bulb, and cool tube reflector. I removed the 400cmh, and 250hps I was using, and replaced it with a 600watt super hps hortilux... Worked out PERFECT.. Much more intense light with the 600watt in there, and the cool tube made for better overall light coverage, and lower temps overall...

BillyGoat, please do check in often bro. I plan to do a thorough smoke report on each upon completion. I've been following along with your OE project, as I recalled H3ad mentioning using your oe for this project. Having not grown either the OE or the wreck I could really use your expertise as far as phenotypes go.. Right now they are all fairly consistent as far as scent goes, with some subtle differences I'm sure I'll be able to pin down better after the harvest.. As far as structure goes, again similar though I believe some do show more of their OE side... #4 in particularly stretched for 2-3 weeks longer then the others, and looks like it will need a bit more time to finish up.

As far as nutes go, I dropped the micro all together about a week ago.. I ran the 0/9 this week, and now I'm pretty much following Rez's recipe for the finish. I'm actually running about week behind his schedule as I believe I'll be flowering these longer then Rez's estimated 63day finish. So far so good though... The plants seem to like it.. Let me ask you... Do you know what causes the red stems? I seem to get it often, but I've never been able to pin it down to one thing or another.. I get it sometimes on seemingly perfectly grown plants. I never really worry about it to much, though I certainly would like to know..

Mmmm frosty!

I think purple stems and petioles are from Phosphorus deficiencies, but is also found on certain strains as a genetic trait if I'm not mistaken.

yes, Head used the OE seeds i sent him for his projects. He's done very well with my OE cross and lot's of grower's enjoy's his awesome work. You will not beat Head's awesome work. Great family and great gear.

The Lemon Lime is from the Trainwreck and Thai. I've got a good amount of OE in flower now and a bunch of them have the same smell. The only difference in them. Some are stronger then others and some or low odar. I was looking at your pictures and you can notice some Thai structor in your plants. Some of the leaf pattern is those long skinny leafs. You will also notice how some are viney like the TW.

Your pictures also looked to have some nice mixture also. I've notice some nice plants that are mixed with stronger stems, then the normal weak viney TW. Looks like you got some nice pheno's. The trick now, is choosing the ones to keep. If you have any question on the OE. Feel free to ask away. I just posted some new pictures on my tread and you can compare them. Sorry, don't have the link handy right now.

Good to see ya been keeping yourself busy Kool.. I 'tried' growing gws before.. Didn't turn out so well for me. Not sure what the deal was, bad seeds or what, but from the greenhouse 5 pack of fems I was only able to get 2 up and growing. Both ended being rather runty, and ended up being scrapped before flower... I hope to have better luck with the Nirvana White Rhino when the time comes for them...

Billygoat Thanks for the helpful info bro. So far I'm extremely pleased with these genetics. I'm already planning to hit up whatever keepers i find with the threesome of males I held onto.. I know if these smoke, and taste anywhere as good as they smell, I'm certainly going to want to preserve the genetics, and search through more at a later date.

My feelings about the possible keepers changed slightly over the last two weeks.. Even though slower to set flower number 4 is smelling-looking really nice now.. It'll have a smaller yield, longer flower time compared to the others, but on this plant the strong lime scent mixes with a sour mango type scent none of the others seem to have... Number 3 IMO looks the closest to the vine like tw bud structure I've seen on here, and number 2 seems to be the whole package with the sturdier stems, thick coating of resins, more solid bud structure, and of course the strong lime-funk scents. I sure as hell hope some of these exotic scents I'm smellin transfer over into the flavor of the smoke.. They don't seem to be as lemony in scent anymore as they are lime.. A really STRONG nose tingling lime scent upfront mixed with a musty-attention getting mentholated type funk. While I've had quite a few plants with strong lemon scents (some of my favorites are strong lemon-citrus strains), this lime-funk scent I'm finding quite different, and exotic.

I'll be checking out your OE thread shortly bro... Keep up the good work. I see some real POTential in these genetics that is for sure

Here are a couple updated bud shots... So far all is well IMO.. The last week they received their elevated p-k feedings, and so from here on out it'll be 9ml of gh bloom + 8ml liquid karma until the final flush... Next run with these I'm gonna try and remember to taper the N a lil bit earlier in the schedule, maybe run 3/9 for the last week of the micro feedings. I think these sativa dom thai plants just required less N, and seem to have needed the elevated p-k ratio to really wanna do their thing...

Plants 2 & 4 look especially good. Nice, fat buds with good trichome coverage.

Good luck with the pollination. Those girls look more and more like the cut. This is what happens when you use the right cuts and real trainwreck. Not like some other big name seed company we know.

You can't go wrong with Head's work. He surely know's what he and she is doing and have made very nice selections in these seeds. You've done a outstanding job growing them out. Very lovely girls you have. I've noticed a few of them look like some of the OE i have going now. Noticed, so same leaf patterns.

Can't wait to hear your smoke report. I'm sure it will go a good one.

It's a nice problem to have though, to have too many options and not knowing what choice to make! I had that problem with clones and had overflowing veg and flowering chambers until root aphids and fungus gnats made me have to take serious action and I ended up losing everything but my mothers and flowering plants..... SSH, Coral Reef x2, Blue Dream, OG Kush, Sour Bubble, Sweet tooth (purple), and probably a couple more are all gone..... Oh well, time to pop 5 each of Ice, Williams Wonder, and Blue Sat x Grape Krush seeds in the mean time to look some keepers!

Sorry if I'm rambling in your thread, I just had some Quick mist diesel with headband hash and I'm feeling goooood!
