Interesting program last night, Weed Wars, showing SUPER SIZED outdoor grows in the CA Sierra's, funded/run by Mexican organized crime.

Seems its easier to grow state side on our public lands(selling it here anyhow) than to make the trip north over the border.

All this could change overnight with a application of reason!!!

until it becomes unprofitable...and not worth the risk or the rewards...

this will go on...but the topic of this thread is people(i.e growers in the medical states) are complaining that there product is worth less...and I laugh at that...because they did it to themselves...if you grow 1,000 plants and get on average a pound per plant..more if grown outside(in Cali..those huge smart pots and raised beds they grow) so that's 1,000 pounds if indoor and maybe 3 or 4,000 outdoor times that by how much a pound fetches..that is a fuck of a lot of money...so these ass wipes have no reason to complain,,,

and i know I will get flammed for this...but the truth hurts..

so instead of buying yourself a Ferrari you have to settle for a BMW..

That is the difference in prices right now..people are still making money...just not as much as they were....so they are pissed

which is why finding meaning in the actual process of growing... why that's an untouchable thing. i hope the new peeps are still doing that. i miss having my hands in good dirt, and the smell of vegetation. :blowbubbles:

Gardening brings great joy to those who can feel the vibe. Others find great joy in the cash they get from growing crops. It's all good... as long as we all share the fruits of our labor - either by selling or sharing freely.

Don't worry because anyone will always be able, regardless of the laws, to have a small secret garden for themselves. My promise is to continue to supply seeds just as I do now.

I respect the law but I live free and deal with the consequences when they come.

So we will do as we please. No one here ever trusted the govt or big business. I don't much like Monsanto Seeds so I won't work for them. I work for you. BushyOG :)

You can always count on CHEFFBOY to crap up someones thread. pound a plant indoors, is it?.....*chuckle. Seems like if he was pulling a pound a plant he would have better things to do than hate on old retirees. We grow vegetable gardens worth more than his last indoor harvest.

Thank you for your insight Bushy Old Grower! Much respect to all you do helping others at every turn, every day. It's the little things you create that bring so many possibilities to others, possibilities to grow and enhance their own lives! Such joy indeed! Better than bucks or ego any day!

There are so many clubs with excellent greenhouse bud (what I was planning to do this year) that I was told I'd never sell it, even if it were top shelf. EVERY dispensary wants indoor, because they charge $15/g in NorCal (even if they pretend not to want it at first to low-ball growers).

Indoor vs. Outdoor?

Indoor vs. Outdoor?

Are you saying clubs/dispensaries prefer indoor bud to outdoor?
Whats wrong with this picture?
Proper outdoor grown under the Sun surly equals Better Medicine than HPS fueled grows? Surly!

Monsanto GMO Wheat was found in a recent eastern Oregon wheat crop, seems this Wheat was contaminated by an experimental GMO strain that was trialed by Monsanto several years back for a few seasons.

Now how it ended up where it did no one seems to know; But in the mean time Japan has halted Wheat shipments from the PNW because of this GMO scare.

Wonder if MONSANTO will be raked across the coals for this or will the wheat farmers be left holding product the world does not want to purchase or consume.

Well, it has gone even further than that. Monsanto has sued farmers who had their crops contaminated with Monsanto GMO pollens. It's the small farmer who is being wronged and they who should be during Monsanto.

But, our govt is in collusion with Monsanto and a law has been passed that they cannot be sued!!!

We will defeat Monsanto by overgrowing the world with love...

We shouldn't be Eco Terrorists and everyone should adopt the Hindu principle of non violence that Jesus also preached five hundred years later.

We can through the law and govt win this battle for so many human rights. They sell water now and cut off access to natural free water places the poor always went. They would own and fence off the water and even the air we breathe next.

Did you remember the first Total Recall movie? The sequel sucked but the one with Arnold had cheap domes on Mars where the company would even cut off their air for fun.

Some people believe God gave us the air and the water and the plants and the seeds. People once prayed and thanked God for the bounty provided.

Now you can pay Monsanto or whoever and thank them. Believing in God seems preferable even if a delusion. People have rights dammit!!!

We will fight with peaceful persuasion and if that doesn't work violence won't work either.

All Bog Seeds will always be heritage seeds that you can breed and own. Bog

The mass murderers that now rule the land masses of this planet laugh at peaceful Gandhi type shit. I'll be as peaceful as they allow me to be but if/when their murder squads start roaming and random killing people to overtake the US, I will be looking for some way to protect myself and mine -violent or not...and with no remorse...

As much as I agree with the view of BOG and prefer a peaceful remedy. When push comes to shove I'm with BrnCow on protecting me and mine.
