So i just took the girls out to feed em, and thought, damn, i should take some pics and do an update, so here they are!! Oh yea...thats a little Choco Chunk from my friend...its a bit purple and smokes great..so hmm...ill have to figure out somewhere to put it

looks good. i got fluffy airy bud before with cfls.... then i figured out what i was doing wrong if its not strain dependent. looks like you should have some nice nuggets there keep it up.

Yellowing UPPER leaves are a sign of under feeding. Lower leaves (ie the oldest leaves on the plant) often will yellow. It's quite natural with most strains.

Thanks for the insight! The first couple times growing, it was my experience that too little nutes was one sign of under feeding. But, that was why I didn't say it was exclusively so.

Peace! :tiphat:

Had to move the boxes into my roommates room today because of a visit from the parentals. Took the plants out of the bigger box and about pooped myself because of how much theyve exploded!! Heres a few shots

Yea the LST is pretty fun, crazy to watch the plant respond. I'm definitely going to start the training earlier on next time for sure. How many plants do you have in that 20-24 in?

Why did you removed the fan leaves ? They are the reservoir of sugars and energy. If you remove them you decrease the yield and the potency. Always keep the big leaves if they are green and healthy, especially if the plant is small.

Instead of removing the leaves try to train them to stay under the buds. You can even fold the leaves (by putting a small ring of paper on them); the plant will suck all the energy she hardly stored on that leaves on the vegetation period.

thanks for stopping in hempfield. This is my first time grow and with it being such i am doing a lot of experimenting. If you read through the first few pages you'll see that defoliation was discussed at great lengths. I'm trying out a few different things to see what works in my cab. I've definitely heard both sides of the story so im giving both sides a shot to see what works best in my cab. Stick around and see how it works out!! I appreciate any help along the way
