I set up my tripod to try and take better closeups of the outdoor plant.
I was shaking too much for proper focus.

I have a few reasons for removing those leaves 🍃 😌.

The leaves are dying and are being shed by the plant. I'm giving her a ✋.

The leaves were blocking 🚫 sunshine ☀️ from getting to the buds.

The leaves were being resorbed by the plant to get nutrients.

She is probably spending more energy and resources resorbing nutrients, than the energy she is using to shed the leaves 🍃.

There is plenty of nutrients being delivered to her, she doesn't need anything from her leaves.

Those yellow leaves are being cut off by the plant and can't transpire like they used to.

They can't pull up much water or nutrients now.

We have had many environmental conditions that led to thunderstorms and tornadoes in our area.

Removing those dying leaves 🍃
gives less surface area for any storm to pull on her.

It turns out that the outdoor plant is a Ghost Rose. I found my post from May 7th,..

I ended up giving that plant to my neighbor and started another seed three days later.
That one is now my outdoor plant.

So my outdoor plant is 12 weeks and two days old.

I'm going to harvest it.

I was going to mention it looked about done to me. Definitely think that was a GLo based on the lack of branching that plant had. :good:

I didn't realize how old it was. I finally checked my thread today and found out it was started around May 10th.

I think it was.
I checked my seeds, and all the packages have been opened, so I must have grown a GLo.

I cut the plant and gave it to my neighbor.

I wrote on my calendar that my current window plant was started July 13th and it is a GLo.
I remember that you said the GLo is on the smaller size so I thought that would be better for the window sill.

She is growing roots into the reservoir.
They look really healthy despite all the algae and springtails hopping around.

Allright Bud! You got all kind of good things goig here: bud in the jar, ready to harvest giveaway, another on it's way... :good:
Could you please look at my pics, tell me if I'm correct? "Cause I see some balls in the first pic and hairs in the next two:

As you can see, I am myself on the way (finally!)
They flowered in the first week of august as planned (hoped) so I can separate the males now and take outdoors the girls for their final position. :tiphat:

I'm no expert and I've only dealt with male plants a couple of times, but most of that looks like young new growth to me and not pistils? (but I'm not sure).

One thing you can do is check the preflowers.

This spot here,..

You'll need a jewelers loupe or a magnifying glass 🔍 to see them clearly. (you can also look through a pair of binoculars backwards to use them as a microscope 🔬.)

This link has some info,..

Wow! did not expect you to take it so seriously..
But I am flattered. :tiphat:

I don't care what you say, I think those are balls and I count on them, after all I'm all about breeding, this season.. :good:
I took quite a poor quality photo, that's like my thing, I know...
Not to pose in expert but I've seen my share of "nanners" good enough to spot some when tey show up. Like here.
Other two girls are showing hairs on top of them, unlike the "male suspect". But i'll wait for another day or two to be sure.
I've donne some pollinating a few times in my days, this is a good time to do it again to keep those great strains alive.
I'm not afraid of mixing, there could be no wrong mix in this combination, they're all indicas... :2cents:
5aug.jpg

Just take a look at Pineapple Chunk, it's the one on upper left side, just behind the left vent.
It's 4 weeks old and such a compact and strong structure, not even 15cm in height and internodes at 1cm apart...
My pride and joy so far!

The suspected male is the one bottom left and as you can see, it has no girly hairs in top. 5 weeks old it is.

And, ya know,.. I don't see any fuzzy pistils.??

You should post a picture like this,..

I only grow girls.
I never look at the plants to verify.
