I'm wondering about these top 2 buds?
I hope they don't grow any taller than about 2 inches?

They have really thick stalks.

I just transplanted my outdoor plant outdoors,..

The squirrels don't eat the leaves, but they dig up the roots.

I didn't think about the rabbits though,..

They might eat the luscious greens??

If anything gets within 2 cm of the lights, they are getting chopped.


The side branches are already reaching past the top flowers,..

I asked exploziv to move my thread to diaries because my thread is a lot more of a diary than a microgrow.

My closet is way bigger than a computer box, and I don't want to try to tell anyone how to grow.

My thread is just a record of what I've done.


Remember when I drilled a hole through my cut stalk and planted a seed in it ??,..

That plant ended up transplanted outside into the very same planter, and soil, and yeilded a record breaking plant yield for me!!


I got 1 dried gram from the entire plant. lol

Those leaves were turning yellow anyway,..

I've got 6 more leaves to remove, but I'll give her time to recover.

Such a shame to chop the tops. Though maybe the ones left behind will make up for the losses? But have you thought about supercropping style training? That's what I do when I need to manage height mid-flower. Basically you break the fibers from one side of the stalk, then bend it to a 90 degree angle.

My plants are never thirsty.
They always have water,..
They never run dry.

Neither do my cat or myself.

All three of us alway have plenty to drink,..

Which reminds me,
I need to make another drink. lol

Yeah it's not really supercropping if done in flower. Won't grow a monster plant. Just a way to "bend" the stalk after the stalk is too rigid to bend. If the top is near hitting a light or the ceiling... But the Henry VIII "off with her head" tek will certainly do the trick as well.

I decided to "top" the two branches that were reaching past the main cola.

The main cola has stopped growing but the side branches are on their way towards hitting the lights.

Yeah, it was nice and level at the top but I'm almost positive the two branches would have kept growing.

This was the plant just after I topped it 3½ days ago.

They grew about 2 inches since then.

I figure that she should have a normally shaped cola now when she fills in, and I figure she can put her energy into the buds that remain, instead of those buds that I cut getting even bigger before they got cut.

I have no interest in LST (other than Light Stress Training of course. lol) and I don't mind wasting a bunch of buds.
I still think that I'm going to end up with a 1 pound plant.

I haven't had a plant tall enough to top in a long time, so I'm still quite pleased with this plant.
