Hi Cellardweller - I love your AVT it's hallerius, thanx for stoping by and takeing time to read and reply :)


Here is a short update on a few things.


The NFT aeroflo is giveing me problem on problem, now one of the gromits started to drip and the nutrient mix is pissing out on the floor of the hut. Had to clean up several gallons of water, with a towel and a bucket.
I think I got it stoped and then I desided to start flowering them, now I don't wanna wait no longer and I just wanna have this test grow done and kill this aeroflo :jump:

Im testing a single compound nutrient for flower, it's a cheap chem nutrient salt I mix myself. A friend tryed to flower with is and said it worked fine, now im gonna see if it's true or what will happen.

So they are now getting 12/12 light (2x 400 Watt)




Here is a pic of the 16 SSH moms in the boot camp training :)
They are doing nice most of them, there is a few of them that's not too happy with the nutrient mix, so I have deluted it a bit so the smaller plants won't freak out.




The mixed cuttings are starting to show flowers now, not much but they are on the breaking point and in a few days they will all have nice little white fluffy heads. It's a bunch of Alegria phenos and 2 SSH phenos all from seeds, selecting a keeper mom tho it looks like the SSH no#2 is gonna be the one I choce and one or two Alegrias.





Finaly a few pic's of some of the Alegria moms I put in flower, they are also starting to form the early stages of flowering and looking good id say.

Good morning everyone and what a wonderfull morning, well im kinda sick as I catched a cold or something. Runny nose, minor cramps and muscle aches in my lower back, red eyes and red nose. I look kinda lovely - Like I have been drinking Port the last 10 or 15 years :smoke:

The lights turn on no matter what, so there is no sick days around here aslong I can atleast roll myself out the bed, not that I feal I get sick very often it's that time of year.

Back to the topic of the garden


I got a few shots this morning of the seedlings in 12/12, they are comeing along very nice now and there is something more people find interesting - Flowers!

It's still early and there is atleast a month till the pot porn begins, but the early stages is okay too....maybe im just a dirty dog who like looking at young and promising chicks, finger them a little to get there lovely sweet aroma all over my fingers. :laughing:

First a shot of a Alegria clone, this is A#7 (clone from Alegria seedling #7) I got A#2, A#3, A#5 and A#7 left, #7 and #2 is looking the best and A#7 might just make a very nice donkey dick single cola.




Bubblegum

They are doing fine, they have all kinda size LOL but looking good.




Nephthys

They are doing great too, they have been more even in the canopy and growth compared to the Bubblegum, thats a storry from the past as they are streaching now. They are still more even then the BG seedlings, but the BG are as even as the himalayas so it don't mean much.

I have clones 20 of the most promising females, I have selected 9 males that have promising traits in growth and smell. Thats all I can select on as they are not very big or flowering, they will be placed in flower for pollen and traits on a different location.

Out of the 20 females, im gonna select 2 females that have the traits I wanna keep. I'll sellect 3 of the best males, each female will be cloned and the 6 clones will be polinated with each male.

To night im makeing hashish, simple old fashion drysift.

I had a bunch of popcorn buds, trimings and left overs or what ever it is. It's old stuff most of it, the only "fresh" trimmings are the darker green stack.

All the popcorn buds and the yellow trim are all from last year, it might look like some sorry ass shit but it's potent enough and it's more or less flavorless. Yeah that might be boring to smoke as weed, but then again you get very very high and no coughing or rough throat after joint #200 :joint:

The pure buds where loaded into one thumble and trim and mini buds where filled into the other thumble, I start thumbling the lowgrade thumble and freeze the buds untill im done with the rest of the trim.

2 bouncing balls where put in each thumble







I'll update again later when there actualy is made some hash LOL

Yes what can say, makeing hash is alot of work with little return LOL

I need a bigger thumbler :badday:

Well I got the thrim and buds thumbled, I did not scale anything so I have no idea how much I have threw the thumbler last night. I posted a pic above of the kiff dust, it was then collected and softly pressed over night. Useing alot of pressure here would just make the hash rock hard and near impossible to break up again, thats no fun spending 10 minutes on crumpling out the hash cos it was pressed with 15-20 TON trying to make Morrocan THC diamonds or somethin :bashhead:

Ended with 13 grams of what appers to be some very nice drysift, the color and small is wonderfull dark brown like "morroc" where most hash I make either is "blond" (white/yellow), red/orange or black as tar. Funny thing is I cured the material for this hash, in a year as my old morrocan hash farmer friend told me. Thats how they used to do it, before the US and US politics fucked up Morroco and there hash farmers.

He have also eksplaind they used to flavor the hash with male pollen, so they would mix in collected male pollen and mix it into the kiff for better flavor. I have never been able to track this method down online, I have often thourt about trying it but never had enough kiff and pollen at the same time.

Lab test's have shoven that male pollen do contain cannabinoids and THC, so it's only deluteing the hash a little bit. But have anyone tryed/heard about this befor??? After pressing the hash need to fermitate in hot/dark rooms, my friend and his family used rooms under the ground, heated up by the sun durnig the day or something.

Desided to Double pot the flowering mother plants in the smallest pots, dunno if it's something ppl still use in soil or anything. Just came to think of some old posts from overgrow, when I was planing on repotting them and desided to try a soil less double potting.




I cut the bottom of with a scissor, trying not to cut into the root ball and hydroton for the sake of the scissor.


I removed the bottom of the pot and the flat net of roots, this is important to speed up the roots growth into the new pot, form a new and bigger rootball.

Sweet - I'm hoping you'll get some really aromatic hash. You deserve it after curing the buds for so long to shake them:)
The best hash I've made so far (aroma and taste) has been scissor-hash. Gumby isn't really up there and I haven't tried shaking with a decent screen (Don't laugh - I stole one of my gfs pantyhoses once to make shake).

About the green skill'z I shure have some skillz, it takes at least a bit of skillz to run a larger size grow. It takes alot of your time, most of it actualy and there is alwaus something to be done. On the other hand it's prety easy to pick some really nice plants to show off, when you have lot's of plants.

Besides no one really wanna look at plants like this


So I do also have a few shitty looking plants, but the majority is looking great and thats what really counts and it's seedlings in hydro. It's ekspected that not all will be equaly happy with the Nutrient mix and pH ect. ect. ect.



Hi again Blackone and how are you today, good I hope mate and yeah the hash is very aromatic and have a really good flavor. It's very strong tho, high potency too. But I made a joint last night with a big amount of hash, it was nearly impossible to smoke, as every time I took a toke it felt like getting strangled - You all know the feeling right, makes me cough like crazy !



Im gonna do a bunch of pictures today, there are lot's of differnt strains an phenos growing so that should keep it more interesting.

First a few pic's of the Alegria mom's I put into 12/12 2 weeks ago, they are starting to form buds and put out a sweet aroma.





They are in the same room as the mixed clones, been there a shorter time but they are forming more flowers then the clones do. Here is a few shots of some of the clones, most of them I have little clue about what is what due to a mix up by my "apprentice" or what u call it. (my personal noob?)

Now let's peep into the other room, just got the pictures this morning befor lights out. So they are fresh ....... suuuuuupar fresshhhh..... too much.. okay well let's look at the ladys!

Here is a shot of the BG seedling we have been folowing all the way, it's a bit higher then most of the Bubblegums. Not to happy with the long space between the notes, but it's sativa dom so long internodes is normal. So far the bud vs leaf ratio looks good.



Finaly there is the Nephthys, gonna be alot of work stabilising them but interesting from my point of view.

Here is the Seedling we have followd all along


This one have my interest cos of it's growth padern, it looks very much like it's mom did and I just hope the smel and flavor is in that direction too. Beutifull plant, nice colors, tight internodes and it started to bud earlyer then all the rest.

Yeah some seedplants get a tough start...
My favorite clone (swt #3) was a real runt when I first grew it from seed and it just didn't want to grow. Since then she has shown her true colors and is quite vigorous and pretty high-yielding. When other plants are busy complaining about nutes or thrips she just keeps growing and building buds - never seen a single nanner on her either.
I almost gave up on her back then - now I'm so happy I didn't.

I know exactly what you mean with that hash - I wonder if THC itself is cough inducing, or at least responsible for that delayed harshness in the lungs - I think that's what's called expansion? I get the same with my most potent strains even though they're cured well and the smoke is smooth on the inhale.

Blackone it's always nice when a troubled seedling, turns out to be a really nice keeper.

Alegria clones in the room with the seedlings, trichomes are starting to build up on the leafs and buds. Looking good already and if they keep it up they will be coverd with a nice fa layer of resin when they are done.







The BG seedlings running 12/12 from seed is pretty mixed up, there is alot of different phenos and growth patterns. The canopy if also really screwed up, but besides all that it's looking good. Would be nice if a few more would start flowering more, then just the small pre flowers they have.







The Nephthys seedlings are looking much better, they are more uniform but still a good spred of phenos, different growth and smells. Most of them are flowering nicely and a few of them are flowering really good.

Hello Medical shed nice to see ya here, welcome onboard this space cruiser. We are heading for the 7th galaxy "See of Green" plz sit tight and get a good hold on the handles next to your seat, this "boat" is about to take off!

Thanx for the input on the pictures, but I don't alter my pictures for good reason. The picture might be brighter but the color is turning out wrong, besides alterd pictures are IMO useless as they give a fake idea of how things are looking. I use this just as much to back track my own stuff, make comparenses with old grows or if something goe's wrong, I here have documents from my past rather then keeping em on my PC and risk getting busted for years work.

I think most older growers will agree on the matter, it's better to post a dark or bad picture then a altered picture. There have atleast back in the days on another forum been alot of fights about alterd pics, someone won a POTM with a edited picture and ppl got pissed of cause.

All I can say is my pictures look okay on my screen and on my cam, maybe they are both off a bit showing them brighter then regulations dunno?!?!?!
To me they look like they do in the room, then maybe the background and some is a bit dark, but there is alot of light the cam got to filter out too.

Im glad you pointed out my pictures might are a bit dark, I will try to adjust my cam and flash better if possible. Others have the same problems with my pictures?

lol yeah I didn't even think of that, could cause a few problems.

Think I'm going to have to try some Alegria at some point they look amazing.
