panama leaf mutation?

panama leaf mutation?

My cuts have an unusual trait in that sporadic new leaves develop with the underside of the middle finger curling around on itself.
Is this genetic or something that I am causing? Did anyone else see this on their girls?
Other than this trait the plants have amazing vigour

I just seen a post from guest on page 6 of the thread that also talks of deformed leaf development, Dubi is this trait specicific to any particular member of the Panama family?
Seems as though my girls are red bloods and racing like Arabian stallions, this is a very different experience to growing autos outside at 54 N.
Last week rubbing petioles smelled like lemon and vanilla spongue cake, now the smell is like coca cola?

3 out of 3 regular panamas are female!. I see pink hairs coming through in both of the ones that showed first.

Dubi - does the green panama pheno take longer to show sex?, it's shorter than the other 2 and took a weeks longer to show and I can't see any pink coming out.

Those are CBG's Panamas, They were started late in December and had a massive vine hopper infestation but I've sprayed them with neem and confidor and half are gone.
They're still nearly 6ft at the start of flowering.

The panama I posted a while back was from clone and the mother was dusted with Napalm pollen (destroyer x fire og). Here's 2 of the resulting seeds a day into flower. I'll shoot another pic when they come down.

Hello panama growers, I have 2 panama cuttings taken from a 5 month old fem seed mum, the cuts were taken when the mum had started flower and these cuts although well rooted and putting out new veg are still producing a few calyx.

Welcome pugsly,

Panama has no auto flowering traits, it's normal that your clones show some calyxes if they were taken from a plant in early flowering, just apply strong light intensity and high photoperiod and they will go back to growing without any problems. The curling in the new leaves is maybe a revegging sign of your clones taken in early flowering, please share a pic so we can evaluate it better.

I have a Panama under 600 W HPS and it has pink/red pistils here and there. So it´s not impossible with the right pheno

Yes, indeed the red/pink pistil is not so evident indoors, but the very colorful Panamas will show it even under artificial lights. Hope yours is a beautiful one AceHaze

I jarred it and set it aside for a few weeks and then tried some again. The piney cedar has gone more diesel, but it still has that soft creamy exhale. And it'll kick yer butt. It has an unusual sort of persistance - just won't let you forget you're high on it - not sedative so much as dreamy/sensual.

And I have 7 seeds so far - probably end up with some dozens.

This is a really nice strain you've developed, with such powerful and fascinating phenos - thanks!

For dubi or anyone else familiar with the Ace catalog, I'm also interested in the Meao Thais and Malawis and their descendants. Zamaldelica fascinates me for some reason.

If I like the strain that Panama is, what area of the catalog should I explore next, given that I grow short indoor plants?

Wow AceHaze. Is this strain good enough commercially? I aim for 2- 2.5 lbs on a 2.8 square meter table under 1400-1800 watts of HPS and metal halide/led in 9 or so weeks.
Can the Panamas meet those expectations? I really wanna grow this indoors.
