yup they're budding up well
The fast bud's will get the chop at the end of august and the big devil's probably two week's after that ..i hope

They will be getting a good watering now lol

Went out today and took some pics of my outdoor grapefruit.I could smell her from 20 metres away :) what a lovely odour she is putting out, she is also throwing out pistils i expect her to start flowering within a month.

hi jgp your grapefruit's a monster ..i take it you've topped her? ...there's a lot of lower branches on her but how thick is that stem or should i say trunk lol

I topped her three times rocket and yes her stems huge, she must be enjoying life in that 80l recycled wicker pot :)

Thanks for your kind words silver but i'm positive others have done successful outdoor crops in the past in this country :plant grow: just maybe not documented them on this site.As for feeding I use a handful of fish blood n bone mixed in with soil/compost then maybe 1 or 2 nettle teas during vegetative growth then for flowering I topdress with batgauno and potash.:tiphat:

They look the biz. You must have a nice sunny spot :yes:

If i was you i would trim lower branches and big fan leaves... to allow good airflow. The mould will start from the bottom up and its coming sooner or later... best to give yourself a fighting chance... :2cents:

Thanks silver, this spot gets all day sun and gets a nice breeze too :) I was planning on trimming the lower branches at the end of the month when i give them there flowering feed.I 'm expecting casualties thats why i planted a great variation of different strains, hoping to find something that works in our climate without turning into a pile of mould.Next year the search will widen as i plan on trying out some danish strains.
