Cool info Dubi! Sorry if this is a bit off topic but, in your opinion is this true for most/all sativas? How about indicas, too? I've only grown (and harvested) inside and am lacking some experience here. :)

Hello inquest,

No problem :) My past sentence is true for all the tropical landrace sativas, but modern dutch-north american indica dominant hybrids have been highly selected for indoor growing for decades ... a lot of them produce even better results indoors than outdoors. They have been bred indoors for so many generations that many times they are not correctly adapted to outdoor conditions: heavy rains, outdoor plagues, strong temp variations etc ...

THe OTH is the first haze I had ever grown, I found a silver, leathery female, that went from fall to late January indoors. She kinda of finished and dried on the stem. Id say I let her go her full cycle. The smoke was very smooth, but sharp at the same time. I have a few more OTH seeds but I just dont have the space to finish them indoors anymore. Im glad I came across this thread, and I will enjoy looking thru it at the other OTH grows within. Thanks for sharing everyone

Welcome The Revolution :)

Sounds like you truely matured her! If she died at late flowering maybe you matured her too much, latest flowering oldtimer's haze females usually finish around early January outoors in my area(37N), most of the plants finishing around mid-late December but could be different in other latitudes. Thanks for share your experiences!

Thanks sweet emotion,

Im glad to hear you enjoyed the Purple Haze x Pânama limited edition, hope you saved clones cos she will be out of stock till 2012, we are very busy right now working to produce fresh catalogue stock and a few new things for the future ;) But dont worry, she will be back, that's for sure.

I grew these old Mexican girls in the 70s in northern Virginia. The first couple of years they were small and I had to shake the snow off of them to wait for mature seeds. But they slowly adapted. Grew up to 10 feet and were able to harvest mature in November. I for basic lack of knowledge added Indicas found at Mount Vernon from George Washington's old garden to my plots and lost the true bloodline. I am elated at seeing the pics of of these girls and am moving to a tropical climate and will again be able to enjoy the first love of my life again. Thanks

High sativagrower,

Im glad to hear that, you still can find nice purple/green phenos in this line. This seeds are a bit old, hope you can grow a few to explore the line.

The new Oldtimer's Haze (mix of purple, purple/green and green phenos) is very fresh stock.

We are also going to offer some interesting haze limited editions for this season: Green Haze and Purple Haze... for those looking for a concrete pheno ;)

Too many lines to explore, too little time...

Dubi, you and the Ace team are really bringing the community a great service in these lovely old school genetics. I can't wait to grow them out as well as see others do the same. The Old Timer Haze is not for the impatient but for those who are willing to put the time in, the wait is so worth while. My favorite daytime smoke (hands down) and also an enjoyment in the evenings when I need a little pep in my step.
