Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky claims his country will have nothing to negotiate about with Russia after four Ukrainian regions voted overwhelmingly in favor of joining the Russian Federation.
The referendums have been held in the eastern Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Luhansk as well as the southern region of Kherson, and the southeastern region of Zaporizhzhia over the past five days.
The regional officials there said huge majorities have voted in favor of integration into Russia, Reuters reported.
The plebiscites harked back to a similar vote held in 2014, during which Ukraine's Crimea peninsula voted to join Russia.
According to the officials, 99.23 of the voters in Donetsk, 98.42 percent in Luhansk, 87.05 percent in Kherson, and around 93 percent of residents in Zaporizhzhia have approved of their regions' integration into Russia.

Putin brought the war to Zelensky's doorstep. And then crossed the threshold.... with death and destruction.
Zelensky's done nothing but the same thing that the US would do if Russia tried to pull that shit here.
I think I just figured it out.
The perfect phone call has painted the Ukraine in a poor light for Trump's supporters... so, being the bloodthirsty screwballs that they are, they are crossing fingers and hoping that their bloodlust is sated or at least redirected to their fellow citizens.
They're well aware that the Ukrainians are not Nazis, but it's imperative that they use whatever methods to employ the hate necessary to eradicate such numbers.
They know that the stolen election tripe is completely bullshit but they busted up the Capitol in the attempt to destroy democracy.
These are dangerous people but it's relieving to know that you can tell them apart by the amount of lies they have to tell and the repetitive re emphasis that they have to rely upon.

Putin controls the media and flow of information in Russia. Trudeau is desperately trying to control the flow of information in Canada by buying the news media's loyalty with "bail-outs" none of them asked for and forced windfalls from sites like Google and Facebook. He is also shoving through an internet-control bill where the govt will control what content can show up in Canada. Sounds a lot like North Korea actually.
Putin thinks White Russians are superior to the rest of the Russians. Trudeau thinks the Quebecois are superior to the rest of the Canadians.
When Trudeau became Prime Minister he crowed to Canada and the world about how he appointed Canada's first female Minister of Justice and the first Minister of Justice who has from the First Nations, all in one person. Shortly after though he fired her ass from the job and the party because she refused to help him obstruct justice. He then put a gag order on her while he shit-talked her to the rest of the world.
Now Trudeau is blaming Conservatives for Chinese interference/influence that his Foundation benefited from. He even went so far as to call the Conservatives "anti-charity" for bringing it to light.
When Canadians handed him his second minority govt, he said "fuck them", hooked up with one of the Opposition parties (who shit talks him and his party but continually props his ass up in Parliament) and gave himself an unearned ersatz majority govt. This while he proclaims that he and he alone is the only one who can defend and protect Canada's democracy.
But yeah, "Trump, something something something darkside".
