Sure we can address one thing w/o the other. Multiple Tea Party rallies protesting gov't spending never addressed systemic risk. Abortion clinic protesters never address the fact that +97% of women who use their services never get an abortion. These clinics are the only ob/gyn they ever see w/o health insurance and a private clinic. Does a female abortion clinic protester never get a pelvic exam? They know what's happening but they only look at what they want to see.
If the WS protesters followed the Tea Party or abortion clinic protester model, they'd be blocking entrances and cursing Wall Street employees as they pass, trying to go to work.
This protest is peaceful. Their reasons are as bonafide as any protest in America. Me thinks you exercise double standard.
You're argument has one side to blame. The folks refusing to consider $1 of revenues for $10 in spending cuts. And Grover Norquist has the entire cast of would-be presidents raising their hands in solidarity.
You'll get your spending cuts and you'll raise hell when your Social Security and Medicare are affected. You might raise hell about revenue increases (and you have to say stuff like 5% to make it look severe, lol.) These people have more money than ever and we're talking about a 4% rate increase for christ sakes.
