After reading the massive outdoor thread I see the value that NV goggles can have almost mandatory with the amount of people there are now . Anyone use these for getting into an area for prep ? How do they end up working out ? How do you mark you're way so you don't get lost? What are some good priced options that will work for the 2020 adventuring outdoorsman !

Thanks Guise I have around 500 bucks to spend on them for this season unfortunately . Do you all have any time in the bush using them? What tips can you give on pros and cons? I will look on craigs and ebay for used good . Is generation 1 ok to use these seem to be the best price. I would guess anything other than darkness would work. I don't need to see alot just enough not to trip and fall or fall in the water.
The guy (family member) who put an end to my last garden grow to a early end was working for SOCA Serious Organised Crime Agency at the time hence after seeing my grow at a BBQ advised that I cut it early for both our sakes.. Anyhow he specialised in video/photo surveillance and we got talking about kits once and he said they used cheap Chinese stuff as it was 'OK' and inexpensive to replace compared to french or Japanese optics.
Though if your in the middle of nowhere you wouldn't want it to fail... You can't really get that lost in the UK.
