[additional Non BOG -THSeeds S.A.G.E qty 3]

Breeding Project #4

Lifesaver [ Large Red/Purple 'Blueberry '] X Spice of Life Sweet Tooth 1.1
'Exotic' Purple/Red/lavendar High yield

Qty . 4
*****************************

Experiment #5
[Non-preservation, cross of 2 BOG Hybrids]

Current status of SBBX4 X Lifesaver [ Lemon Pheno , High yield]
Qty. 4 started approx May 08, all 4 female. with 3 'identical' phenos [ unusual size/vigor/scent] some difficulty in branching w/o LST and one smaller broader fan leaves.
******************************

SBBX1 to be started by 7/12/08

NOTES FOR SELF
; 7/10/08

SBBX1
SBBX3
SBBX4

SOUR BUBBLEGUM aka SOUR BUBBLE Produced as 'sport' of Bubblegum.[SB 0]

[Subsequent information from BOG suggests an unidentified Afghani was introduced at some point.Massive change in phenoTypic structure from Bubblegum would confirm this, as sport of Bubblegum similar to SB has not been reproduced to my knowledge.

High THC, high trichome density, low interstice nodes.Large stem diameter, difficult to get branches w/o lots of LST. Also auxin in tips seems to not want to dislodge easily.Upper stems hollow. some difficulty in larger hollow cuttings but faster than avg. with smaller cuttings.larger fan leaf than average.
several phenotypes.seldom needs staking, unless light levels are inadequate.
can finish slow. Strong THC and medical app.

Note: In BX2 generation trichome yield/density avg. 47% higher than in subsequent SBBX3 gen. without loss in overall THC.
Unusually large fan leaves typical.larger in some pheno's than BX1[??]all other notes same.

In some cases lower interstice node than BX1

SBBX3 Generation increased overall yield/mass 50-80%
increased interstice node, branching habit improved perhaps 60%.more quickly branching habit, responds quickly to LST. all other notes same

SBBX4 Generation some significant changes in overall yield/height/interstice
producing a more typical individual of BOG's original Sour Bubblegum.

***possible recombination of allele 1 in Original higher branching model [SB 0]suggests higher branching /higher yield was recessive,[ss]as both initial BX1 and BX2 were lower branching/lower yield than SBBX3.
This suggests a recombination in BX3 finally producing the [ss] model rather than the [SS] DOMINANT [sbbx1,sbbx2]low interstice/node lower yield / high trichome density and high THC.***

SBBX4 OVERALL is more similar to original [SB 0] parent than either SBBX1, SBBX2, or SBBX3.

Weighted change in SBBX4 is significant enough to retain in line as seperate BX.

Electrophoresis indicated polyploidy traits in SBBX3.

No data for other BX.

Grape Punch was a frost monster made by BOG'S son , known on the board in those times as GrapePUNCH , it was a cross of an unusual and very rare Bogglegum, very tight, very high trichome density..and extremely powerful, this was crossed to a very special Lifesaver male.

I recall both plants, I think...but cannot locate them on here yet.

Below are BOG's and grape Punch's response to the lineage question and I also provide the link to the thread

Current Mood:

There will be a Pre-release soon of GrapePunch

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My son has been working on this cross of our two strains Lifesaver and Bogglegum. If the people who get in on the first release are sure it's worthy then we will go forward with it. It is my sons strain and his name here is "GRAPEPunch" too...

I am working on Sour Bubble a derivative of Bogbubble that I have found a male that made a male when crossed to the clone mom that is like the mom. Later this summer my most premo line ever will be released. "SOUR BUBBLE" BOG

GrapePUNCH is a cross between BOG Lifesaver and a extremely tight and rare phenotype of BOG Bogglegum, After a year and a half, with over 150 bogglegum seeds and clones. I found the ONE, The best tasting, fastest growing, and best punch in the face high bogglegum I ever grew. So I HAD to cross it with Lifesaver.

Why? you might ask?

Beacause BOG Lifesaver is AMAZING, I love its consistent sweet flavors and fast growth, combined with its abilty to become massive with proper nutes, (Just like the Bogglegum queen).

I'm Just so proud of my plants. I've got a few pics in the gallery.

Southwind your flowers (all of them) are beautiful. Would you mind letting us know what kind each one is? Especially the yellow one, I'd like to grow that myself.

Can you recommend any kind of flowers that hang down? I have a rail on my patio that I'd like to put some kind of plants on to block the view onto my patio (I have two 5' tall Super Silver Haze girls out there right now, and they're only getting taller/bushier). I figured something hanging over the rail would be the best bet.

Well if you want QUICK cover get yourself some climbing/vining NASTURTIUMS. But be sure they are climbing/vining.

Put them in flower boxes or pots and give them decent soil, not too much water and let them hang down and drape.

If you want something more permanent and even prettier, I can think of about 30 plants off the top that would be great..I need to know your climate more though..
