PS. Deaths are climbing in Germany. I wonder if the fact that Germany has the highest rate of organic consumers (AKA suckers who pay too much for shitty produce) has anything to do with this.??? Thoughts for the day:)
Data Mining anyone?
Yeah, the typical German diet of their 'baby boomer' generation has nothing to do with it.

You must grow shitty weed!
You need to laugh every once and awhile.

Sig quote. The ? makes it different, you wouldn't get the humor, because you're not in the Rectaltangle.
Oh, I agree cobcoop is a talentless twat :)

Here is a parallel to your Data Mining (if you don't know what it means, then look it up).
"I woke up this morning, the sun rose. Because I wake up the sun rises."

Just because you don't understand the saying, and the relation of that saying to the German's lifestyle, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Of course, you've probably never had the luxury of enjoying a summer evening in a Munich beer garden. Quite peaceful, but fattening yes.
:blowbubbles:

This just in. "Organic food responsible for stable economies." Germany has long been known as an industrial and financial powerhouse of Europe. But recent studies prove that, with the highest rate of organic consumerism in the EU, Germany's success is do to the natural foods and produce that its citizens enjoy. Forget responsible debt practices, a three tiered education system and social norms that value hard work...Scientists say, Organics it is. We will just see if the rest of Europe can learn from the Reich.

mullray it is funny, and Soooooo true. Et je suis français.

Stop trolling, please get back on the subject and you won't get this kind of intervention.
We don't give a damn about your proGM antiOrganic propaganda, you're on a website with mostly home growers, not the best place for that.

Oh come on that isn't even funny.

You act like it & don't even understand that your government is most of the time responsible for the drug policy here in Holland. In 1994 we had the chance to legalize Cannabis, but Chirac was shouting that the Schengen treatment was of the table if that would continue.Your Le petit président who still thinks he is Napoleon is just the same moron as Chirac.:moon:

BTW organic food is increasing in France.:blowbubbles:

Nostalgia, Legalize Parade 1996.
Coffeeshops have been under pressure for many years now, but the strong ones have survived. This is a clip about the Legalize Parade in Amsterdam, 1996, when we still had about 1450 coffeeshops in the Netherlands. Jaques Chirac, the French President those days, wanted the Netherlands to close all coffeeshops. Already then I felt strongly about defending my way of life and my profession, as I have always been convinced I am doing the right thing by running a coffeeshop, no matter what my or other governments may say.
We decided to participate in the Legalize Parade in Amsterdam, first week of June, I believe, so we had to think of something catchy to stand out in the crowd. We rented two transport bike, one was carrying our orange Statue of Liberty, the other one was decorated with a cage, in the cage 4 cannabis plants and the chopped of Jaques Chirac, resting in straw. We pedaled to Amsterdam, and met up with the other protesters, like Peter Balk and Jackie Woerlee and Eagle Bill. Strangely enough, we seemed the only ones representing the 1450 coffeeshops from the NL, the others did not feel like standing tall for the cause.
We had a nice day anyway, we rode our bikes through Amsterdam, leading the parade…. Enjoy!
Oh, I almost forgot, from that day to the present, The Netherlands closed 750 coffeeshops, so we are left with only 700, we are still open, but for how long??

Cher Nicolas Sarkozy

Amicalement

Jules Sinturel

Mullray is just mad at being dark in France. (Yes, the French are still mostly racist)
Don't let his hate affect you.

And, btw, it was me that mentioned 'Reich', not elmanito.
Here, you can educate yourself about the meaning...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reich
Unfortunately people only know of the Drittes Reich.
They forget about Barbarossa and the Holy Roman Empire.
:blowbubbles:

well, elmanito is atleast partly right.
There was a wietpass for the southern netherlands, which banned european tourists from the shops.
A coffee shop owners went to court in luxembourg, because he felt it was discrimination. The judge then essentially said discrimination is ok if its about naroctics, since the EU doesnt want us do use drugs.
The judge, Yves Bot, is French and was appointed by the heads of state of the EU. Since he worked in Paris before and is a friend of Sarkozy´s, who do you reckon nominated him...

His official statement on the case:
may the manager of a coffee shop rely on that principle in order to legitimise its activity and may a national of one Member State rely on that freedom to go and take drugs in another Member State?

83. I think that these questions must all be answered in the negative.

84. It is evident that the introduction of the internal market and the establishment of the relevant rules raise certain problems with respect to narcotic drugs. Whilst the international commitments are clear, it has nevertheless been necessary for the Court to act on several occasions to establish the principle that narcotic drugs, including cannabis, are not goods like others and are not subject to the rules intended to apply to the internal market where their marketing is unlawful. His best quote is: « Les juridictions de droit commun sont incompétentes pour juger un président en exercice car cela reviendrait à instituer un mode de contrôle du pouvoir exécutif par l'autorité judiciaire »
"Common laws are incapable of judging a president in his actions, because this would mean controlling the executive by judicial authority." *FACEPALM*

So I also agree that a.) it was the Frenches fault, because a Frenchmen who was appointed by a Frenchman bent our European laws to agree with a Dutch and b.) its all our fault for accepting EU Hegemony.
Oh and C.) Neglecting all the inexcusable crap that happened during the third Reich for a minute: We whooped France's ass in the war. France surrendered after 3 months. k, lol. :)
So please get your facts straight. - Why are we talking about Germany again? :D

First off I'm ex kiwi And hey we have great wine, great cheese, great culture and great cities (even the 3rd Reich couldn't bring their murdering asses to blow up Paris) Right back at you:moon: Viva la France

"BTW organic food is increasing in France"

Maybe not any more it isn't:) Think death by beansprouts PR disaster. And I think you may be wrong. Consumers here in many cases have bought the organic hoax but they think it is overpriced and not worth the extra money. Besides this - You are what you eat - eat shit and you will die.

Jeesh, Im off blazing for a cpl of days and there are loads of new replys :)

First off YOU don't have squat, coz you aren't french, given that you state you are "ex-kiwi", actually that means you don't even have a home nation. You are just a wannabee frenchie/spanish/portuguese, well you can wait inline with all the moroccans, tunesians and algerians there ;)

As for the bean sprouts, given that it is a sprout there is most probably as much difference between organic and non-organic bean sprouts as there is between greenhouse soil grown organic tomatoes and greenhouse soil grown non-organic tomatoes (non whatsoever, except for some certification).

As for the rightwing douchbag pm, strangely enough he isn't a douchbag, he's quiet charasmatic, very intelligent, and led the liberal party to its first PM in history. If it wasn't for the fact that hes stuck too, a conservative leftwing party and a conservative christian party, he could have probably done some great things. But then again having a multi party democracy means that potential, and election programs, are miles away from what actually happens in the real world, and this counts for all parties.
As for calling dark people "niggers" in Holland, that doesn't really happen (unless you go to a nice farmer community tucked away somewhere deep in the province but those places you will find in every country). They call criminals, criminals, and most criminals in Holland are from non-western decent, namely Moroccans, Suriname, and the Antillen, and that is a fact reported for over a decade by the Central Bureau of Statistics.

As for International Pressure on the Dutch Drugspolicy mentioned by elmanito, he has spoken not a single lie. For the past 15 years, due to international pressure from our surrounding countries, mainly France, Germany, and Belgium, Holland has been unable to change the Gedoogbeleid as it was supposed to. The instigators of the Gedoogbeleid planned for serious changes making cannabis use legal and regulated within the nation. This unfortunately never happened and now Holland is stuck with an old useless law, that is nothing more than a half assed solution that can be used and abused by the reigning cabinet. When the true liberals are in power, cannabis is virtually legal, ie. the '90s, and when conservatives are in power cannabis is virtually illegal, ie. the present.

As for the weedpass in general, if it would mean that the backdoor policy would finally be decriminalised and made legal, without registration necessary for the people that want to make use of the possibilities. That would be the solution, however for that to trully work all neighbouring countries would have to setup a similar policies otherwise drugtrafficking would just be helped another hand.

nevermind.

To the rest of the icmag community:

Im terribly sorry that I keep feeding the troll for my own amusement. This is neither the time nor the place to do such things, it is off topic and a nuisance to other icmaggers. Sometimes the pubescant kid comes out in me and wants to play.
I hope the community can forgive my juvenile off topic behaviour.

And your issue with that is what? Well Seigfreid another lesson - more Kiwi's live outside of NZ than do in NZ (what does that tell you - yes NZ is a shithole and any kiwi with half a brain leaves - hence it being called the NZ brain drain). 13% of NZs population is Asian (total pop approx 4.3million) because so many NZers have left they are desperately trying to prop up the population. NZ has the highest rate of gang members in the world per capita. 6 years ago Auckland (that'd be the largest city in NZ) was the murder capital of the world on paper - you had more chance of being shot or stabbed in Auckland than you did in Rio and NZ was recently criticised by the UN for its horrendous rates of child abuse and domestic family violence. So if you're a Maori in New Zealand the smart thing to do is leave. Here endeth the lesson about NZ. Now is there any other comments you would like to make about a country you clearly know not one thing about? Oh and Australia... It's weather is awesome and the beaches... well man you'll just have to get there to believe just how great they are. Like I said - I love France and love the French but would I choose to live in Europe forever???? A holiday home in the South of France may be nice.

Oops so we are not off topic - they also just busted every hydroponic store in NZ:) It's a very liberal place lol ---- google 'Switch on Gardener' and learn all about NZ.
Ok ok Last one then.
What it says to me is that Kiwi's like you have the backbone of a jellyfish and no pride whatsoever. (then again what can you expect from a nation famous for Damn Demons Land (van diemens land) and an inability to cope with alcohol) These are aspects that I'll never be able to respect, running away for the problems of your own home instead of wrapping up your sleeves and going to work. In Rotterdam they have a saying "Niet Lullen, maar poetsen" (Don't bullshit, but clean) , it is a mentality shared by Northern European cultures and is what enabled them to conquor the entire world.

I've met a lot of Ozzies on my travels and at my studies, they are great people and have told be about their country, how happy and proud they are to be from Oz, and seems to be an awesome place. But it will never be as awesome to me as my Home, no place will ever be that awesome. Do you want to know why, because It is my HOME!!
