I'm heavily tattooed but nothing on neck, hands or face. Tattoos that visible are great when they're freshly done, on young skin but I imagine they'll be regretted in the future - same as the flesh tubes in cheeks or lips. I'm all in favour of individual freedom and artistic expression but fuck me backwards, some body mods just look fucking horrible.

I feel my hands will be fine but for some their hands do get pretty rough looking. It depends if you get them freshened up every so often. For me though they are for me now and if they look a little rough later at least I enjoyed them for 40 years. Anyway no one in my family has nasty looking hands in their age so I'm not worried about mine. My grandfather's hands would still have made great canvas when he died, his hands were scarred a bit on the palms and fingers but the backs where mine are done where still fine. He worked his whole life and so his hands were always tough and strong and never slack.
I agree about the rest though... some mods are nasty now and later. Holy fuck I never read the tattoo mags because some of the chick's creep me out, they think they look hot but doesn't impress me

I have seen some amazing hand tattoos, I've even spent time thinking about getting mine done (probably a day of the dead skull on the right and the handprint of my son on the left

There's a couple tender spots on the hands but it's not bad. I actually do my left side myself, it's not something everyone can do but to put it into perspective I can do it to myself you can sit through it. Believe it or not you have already toughed out some worse spots. I'm not big on doing my knees. Calf especially.
I don't have sleeves. Don't want them. I have lots but most are small allowing me to have more. I like having skin space between them.
When Canada's legal I could post pics of my tattoos but not before then for sure. I'm glad we have some time though. I'll enjoy selling at a high price and not having big business competition until then. After that I'm sure all the small fish will be fucked, that's ok at least I can post pics of my tattoos on ic lol...

I don't have any tattoos, they are generally 'meh' or 'ugh' (to use some internet vernacular) to me.
tats on chicks, neck, breast, butt or crotch are fine as long as they're professionally done; I don't care for the asian writing tats though, and face tats on either sex look creepy to me.
2 tats, no piercings although I did pierce my own left ear one night on a dare and let it heal right away on its own. both of my tats were done by Big Joe's Tattoo Mt. Vernon NY, one in his old parlor where Chuck Zito used to park his bike, and one done on the road @ the Harley Rendezvous.

Heavily tattooed complete left leg , complete right arm and numerous others here and there.
Nothing on my neck or hands or nothing that can't be covered in a professional setting but that is only because it's needed.
The day I don't need the 9 to 5 bs a small tattoo on my lower neck is getting done. Always wanted a neck piece. It always gave me the I do not give a fuck vibe
And all thru my adult life I was always of that thinking but being other depended on my thinking I've chose not to .....
But cannabis is still illegal in my state so I'll keep that neck tattoo on the wish list.

and my PA took about 3 months to fully heal, 1yr of wearing protection so it wouldn't rip/tear. pain was a 15 on a 10 scale and I about passed out. top/bottom of the base and 3 steps of the ladder were not too bad. and chicks (well most) did the hardware. only had 2 that sais hell no...literally said hell no. I used to go to tat/body piercing conventions in Fla and Detroit. tons and I mean TONS of chicks asked to check it out. and many were happy to sing in the microphone.
I was about to get suspension rings in my back as well. but never ended up going thru with it.

i mean COME ON, get yourself some colored lenses, and let it be good, if memory serves me right, a tattooshop owner i know, told me he refuses to do them eyeball tats, since there are no real long term studies tests done, also, one wrong move or infection and you loose your eyesight!!! -> da fuqqq???

I had an eyebrow ring, but it got ripped out 15 years ago at a pantera concert. A chick named Angel did mine, she's down in Mexico/New Orleans. But she did those shows you mentioned.
