...and here are some random shots of the front with
the lights on and plants inside, note the door where
i used foam weather stripping to form a kind of barrier
in an attempt to light-proof the doors, ...it is insufficient
and will eventually be replaced with a more complete
barrier made of wood.

so, that's it for the build for now, i am currently running
3 cloners at once, something i seldom do as i don't have
the need for that kind of volume but i'm rooting some for
a friend who is finally ready to get his mother cab back
in play.

in any event, i'll be taking pics throughout this run and
posting pics to illustrate my results which i'm sure will
be similar to these pics below.

also, when i do post up those pics i'll be sure to
focus on the new intakes so you'll be able to see
what i added.

Great job.I need to build a perm. cab for my mama's/clones and this looks like I might 'borrow' a few of your ideas.

Impressive cabs man, i've got one tiny cab (linked in my signature) but like feral was saying, i really need a bigger, more permanent solution haha. I particularly like stealth boxes and i love your chest of drawers idea for ur mum :)

here i'll be posting some pics of the biggest run of
cuts i've done in this cab and i'm posting it to show
how well this method works and how well it works
in my little box.

believe me, i'm no expert at cloning or anything else,
just a handy stoner willing to read and read and read,
then do my best to apply what i've read.

anyway, normally i run one cloner at a time because
that's more clones than i actually need to feed my SOG
so running 3 at once is definately an exception.

actually, it's only because my good friend InPotITrust
moved recently and he needs some clones for mothers
and for some to flip in his new flower cab, plus some to
put outside, kinda late i know but they'll yield something, lol.

anyway, i plan on tracking these through the process
to show how they do so expect a lot of pictures, it's
really good 'film' is so cheap these days, lol.

if you look closely at that first pic you'll see i used a
soldering iron to mark the cloner, this one has 2 burns
so it's number 2.

note that i fill the tubes with vermiculite and allow
it to wick for a while and then i stuff my finger in
the tubes and pack them down, not too tight, but
pretty tight, ...then i put more vermiculite on top.

note also that i use rooting powder, just the cheap
stuff you can get at Lowes or probably even K-Mart.

(the funnel and spoon are to put the powder
into the little vial without spilling it all over the place)

again, i'm not trying to pass myself off as an expert,
i'm just trying to share what works for me.

note that i like to trim my leaves as i believe it
allows the cuts to expend all available energy
pushing out roots.

some of these cuts came from InPotITrust's outdoor
plants and a few were very limp, i almost tossed them
in the trash but i didn't because i've had success with
other cuts that looked even worse.

note also that i use a notebook to create a key or
legend for each run, much easier than trying to
label each individual cell, plus, it gives me notes
so i can track performance over time.

these are the Purple Kush cuts and when i saw the
little bundle i thought there were like 10 cuts but,
as it turned out there were only 5 bushy cuts, lol,
still plenty to insure i get a mother!

that is a week ahead, i'll actually be potting them up
tomorrow so i'll take some pics of that as well.

This thread is a lot of fun for me....

Seeing someotherguy use my cloners is pretty cool....

Not too many differences between how I do it and you....

Yours sit on open shelves... my shelves are just a piece of pine....

Nice looking reservoirs.... where did you find those they look perfect....

like the 3 bears thing....

not too big....not too small they are just right.....

I use cloning gel...you powder....no biggie...

Like I say great fun for me.....

thanks man and thanks for your thread without
which this wouldn't even exist, lol.

and those bins are shoe box bins that came in a
set with one under the bed bin, 2 medium sized
bins and 2 of these shoe box bins and you're
right, they are the perfect size. (btw, that set
was cheap too at $15.00 for all 5 bins!)

oh yeah, the powder, gel thing matters not at all,
as you yourself have proven, rooting hormone
isn't even needed, i only use it 'cause i already
had it and it does speed the process a little, but
only a little, lol.

i'll be posting more pics soon, just having some
trouble with 'my' wifi, lol.

here's a few more as i fill up the second cloner which,
in reality, makes 3 full cloners in the clone box at once.

i've actually already potted up the first one and i'll
be posting some pics but i have to upload them first.

and a few more with a shot of the 3 cloners together.

btw, those bushy plants next to the cloner are some
ChemD revegg's i'm taking cuts from before i flip them
again, ...they look like they will do way better than the
first time around, lol.

well i finally managed to get some more pics uploaded
so here's a few shots as i pot up the cloner that was
already in the box when i took those last cuts which,
btw, will be ready to pot up themselves in another
4 or 5 days.

these were in for 12 days and i decided to take them
out because first, they were looking really yellow,
i think i need to reposition my bulb, and second because
there were roots poking out the top! ...the last pic
is a close up and you should be able to see the roots.
