I just hate changing out my 40gl res. its a bitch.

Here's how I do it. I take the water pump tube out of the tray and pull it out and into a bucket, turn the pump on and let it drain out. Then I run pH adjusted water through the planters and tray and let it pick up any residual salts and pump it out of the res into a bucket the same way.

awesome job there man.. i wanna get my tables hummin soon i built and never used.. do you need to worry about your water temp much when u change up your rez or is 5 gal buckets sitting in the veg room for a day or 2 good enough?? do you use a water heater or chiller?? great job again bro.. peace!!

I don't worry about water temps. I've noticed in my 4.5by4.5 tent my 4by4 tray doesn't allow any of the heat from my lamps to get down near the rez. By feel my water is in the mid to high 60's. The last comment for this grow log is I'm going coco/perlite mix hand feed and with some awesome genetics and not ISS/SD badseeds.


Dry weight on 14 clones with zero prune or zero veg. came out to 10oz. nutes were Advanced Nutrients A&B SensiBloom with AN BigBud, AN Bud Candy, AN Overdrive, Hygrozyme.

The top of the mother I harvested I got about 1.5oz in FFOF/perlite with AN A&B SensiBloom, AN BigBud, AN Bud Candy, AN Overdrive

Total Dry weight -11.5oz
