did anyone here about that huge bust in TN? they found something like 343,000 plants on a 10-15 acre piece of land near Reelfoot Lake. funny thing is is that my grandparents have a lake front camper on that lake, literally 10min away from where they found all these plants. they of course dont have any suspects since they found everything on a "tip" (like always) but all i could think was..... "wow, somebody is SUPER pist"

Nice looking outdoor buds, Game. Is that Krakatoa from blazing pistileros?

That was a crazy outdoor grow, FF. All the plants were at least 6 feet tall, with mature buds. Hundreds hung up and drying, apparently 200lbs already processed. Underground generators to pump water from creeks, a reservoir on top of a hill feeding irrigation lines. Apparently they say TN is the 3rd largest producer of mj in the states, didnt know that was true but I guess KY is known for their outdoor so stands to reason that region is thick with growers. Surprised that a flyover didnt find a grow this large...

Yes, it is from BP. They're pretty underground, I guess Bababooey gets around. I was pretty impressed with Krakatoa. They were all started later than everything else and yet they came from behind to make my season a great success. Heavy buds, very potent, covered in shiny love, and the smell is unbelievable. I doubt I will grow it again simply because I require a little earlier finish than Mid October.

Lemon, did u nute them or spray them at all during your visits?
Check out those seed bombs, they were in a recent issue of Maximum Yield, maybe you can incorporate water absorbing crystals in them to increase their effectiveness...

Nice tent, Farmdale. Looks like your setup is humming along pretty efficiently. Your veg looks slightly nitrogen deficient at the tops, which probably means its growing vigorously...

It's supposed to finish in 9 weeks, if u started it on time shouldnt it easily finish by oct?

If someone has until Mid October frost free, they would be happy campers with Krakatoa. True nine weeks to finish flowering........ but the haze in it takes longer to start flowering. I had a very early frost in Mid September and a freeze two weeks later. By the time it recovered from the first frost and got back at it, then the actual freeze hit and really halted further bud development. So for me, not quite early enough.

thanx booey. that nitro def is something i have experienced since switching to H3ads formula. i have some aminoaide samples from soul synthetics that im thinking about throwing in the veg mix. ill be switching back to H&G once the shop i work at starts carrying it. i liked it when i used to use it, but i also wasnt workin at a hydro shop then and didnt get 50% off everything haha. hope everything is going well for everyone ! ! ! stay safe ! ! !:tiphat:

I see, Game. If only you could have induced flowering earlier. Have you ever looked into a producted called Phosphoload, or are you opposed to the use of PGRs?
Still, even though your harvest could potentially have been much more, seems to me you got some high quality nuggetry so its not all bad...

Very interesting dark purples on that Casey Jones, Loudog. That kif looks spot on as well. Are you going to bubble bag those outdoor buds as well?
Are we going to see those beans on seedbay as freebies?:)

Farmdale, nothing wrong with a slight touch of nitrogen def, so long as growth is vigorous. It's way better to slightly undernute than to overnute. Much easier to correct, usually.
Seems like every month there's another nute company opening up. I would think the market is almost saturated at this point...

Yeah, the market is saturated, very confusing to most growers, and full of vague speculation from the manufacturers that do not work, I hate the term proprietary, if a manufacturer says that about there formula I would not buy it. All nutes are the same in most ways, you cannot force plants to take-up any nute it does not want or need, most of the fert's on the market are just over priced and full of stuff you just don't need or will not work with plants, so for me I think the market has been saturated since the late 70's when it comes to fert's.

I studied natural resources in collage and spent several years studying horticulture as part of that course, everything you need to know about fertilizers and growing pot to its full (100%) potential was written 150 years ago.

Very apt description, Farmdale. I also think there's more hydro stores opening up all the time, really cutting into each other's business. In my area, there's like 3x as many brick and mortar hydro stores now compared to even a couple years ago...

So Lou, do you make two diff Qwiso's, one short soak for smoking, one long for making edibles?
I think growers would love your open pollinated beans. True, maybe a fair percentage will be average or below average, but that also means a fair percentage will be keepers. And even the average pheno's look very smokable. Those buds are crystally and pristine for outdoor grown with very little maintenance...

Maximo, what kind of nutes were they using 150 years ago? Did they have refined mineral nutrients or was it all organic-based?
