I have a lady friend who got the go ahead from her Doc to posess,grow....She wants me to be her grower.I have most of the info on the application,,but was wondering how she can go about getting the max amount since she likes to bake with it??and get baked.
I hear the standard is usually 5 grams a day.Is it up to her doctor to allow more if she can convince him of it.I have some info as far as applying for the liscense...but where are we suppose to get seeds,etc.Of course I have my own but do the seeds need to be bought from the Gov,t....
I was busted in 82 and have been clean since (well you know what I mean) so I should be OK as far as my record goes...I think.
We are mainly looking for something more then 5 grams aday......I have a few yrs experience growing and have all the equipment etc.All good info would be much appreciated.....

I would tell the Dr. that I needed Trichome toffee which you need a lot of pot to make. peace out Headband707
thebest thing to do is find the right strain, grow a mother plant and keep it as a part of the license. that way you can take 4 times as many cuts, keep the first 50% that root, then keep the best 50% of that 50% to go to the flowering chamber. i know there are a couple canadian card holders as well selling clones via canada post. the most efficient systems (best) are hydroponic. but this is subject to the user and may not be practical for you, meaning it isnt actually the best. dirt is forgiving, but slower growing, lower yield and longer cycles. yer gona have to figure out what your "best" is. d
Thanx DMT...makes a lot of sense with the mother plant...I have seeds and good ones at that....I plan to have a mother at a liscenced growers house prior to becoming completely legal......I think either Critical mass or Silver haze by MNS...
I also fit the category of needing mj but my doc wants to send me to a pain clinic (three year wait period) lol.I have been taking morphine for 12 yrs for muscle spasm problems related to HepC and liver cirrhosis.This lady who is getting her card just walked into her doctor and in two mins. said he,d approve her for whatever she needed....and she is far from being a nice lookin,lady. Just don,t seem fair: but who am I to argue...Other then my Doc giving me a hard time over using mj for meds he is a great doctor for averything else....he is Egyptian and perhaps it is a personal thing with him (not being racist against him..by no means).I could be dead before I got an appointment at a pain clinic.....and three years is the wait time at present. besides all that the morphine is pure hell as it doesn,t work anymore due to being on it for so long.Mj does help a lot but I do like to do things legal...(most of the time)

WoW just what I need...cancer...I thought morphine would be the safest meds to take for pain,etc.
It is the most addictive pill I ever took.When I wake up in the morning I have trouble even walking til,I get my morphine into me...I,ve been on the same dosage for 12 yrs except for one increase of about 15% around five yrs ago..It really doesn,t work much anymore...Mj does work good when I find the right strain,which is difficult to say the least when you live in a part of the planet where you are lucky to get anything..Oh well i,m gonna bug my doc some more and take some info into him and try to get him turned around...Good luck to me....

No Mophine is far from safe even though it's the most effective for pain it has it's serious draw backs. For one thing it tells the smallest muscles in your body to turn off or as the Dr.'s call it get lazy. These muscles are in your eyes and your urethra which is the muscle that helps you urinate. Once they have been turned off you need surgery to help you pee. Unless you want to start going down that road not to mention the wicked withdraws that you need to go through to stop that shit. Trust me when I say you don't want to go down that road.
Although I'm not a big fan of new drugs there is a drug they are using called ZytramXL . You might want to ask about that drug lots of Dr.'s are not in the know about pain killers. As far as pain is concerned your best bet is to find a pain specialist have your GP refer you.GP's are really not the ppl you want to help you as they really know nothing!!! lol...A pain Specialist will be hard to get into as they are few and far between but thats who you need to see. another draw back to opiates is they trick you into doing things that you shouldnt, a inflated sense of self confidence so to speak. lets say to exagearte that 1 day you decide you feel well enough to play volleyball all day. the morphine agrees. the next day you are in a hospital for a week becuase you exceeded your means because of the morphine. pot takes the edge way off for me, but still allows me to know my limits. like bending over too fast etc etc. you dig? id let my doc know that too. copy the morphine cancer connction and tell that to him too, good luck, d

Your Dr will make you believe that it is...
My wife has lost her nursing license over that poison, she became medicly addicted started diverting it from the hospital. Been on methadon for 3 years and now getting herself weaned off. She has also contracted HepC, the need of this poison had been so powerful at one time, despite her being educated on the matter. She has shared. All because her Dr gave her that 1 script.
My mother is now medicly addicted aswhile, after her surgeries her Dr told her aslong as she takes her meds for the pain when it hurts, that there is no danger. Despite all my cries, she took her Dr's advice, now she don't know what to do...
My Brother died in 03 because of it, 27 years old...
This is just a little taste of how the morphine has affected my direct family. The list is much longer when I think of how it has affected some of my more distant family members and friends.
And to think that Dr's tell their patients it is a safe drug...The fact that it is so much easier for them to sign for a script of morphine then it is for them to sign the mmar form...

Medical that was a really good idea saving those pill bottles for a year and then bringing them into his office. I think that visual of all those pills and how you were treating yourself without them for a year opened his eyes to medical marijuana. I still find that most doctors don't believe in it or are afraid to sign the necessary forms.
IMHO although you think that would be a good idea your not going to change the mind of a Dr. that thinks they are going to get introuble for giving you pain pills. I know this as I have been down this road and it's very aggravating to the point of wanting to argue with them in a very loud voice lol. You really need to get to a specialist that is not afraid to help you. I have noticed over the years that very few GP's will help. I went to a clinic one time a walk in clinic. There were 6 Dr.'s and when I told the resp. I was there for pain pills she said I would have to wait as only one Dr. in the clinic would be able to help me. None of the other Dr.'s would give a presc. for pain.In this day and age our Dr.'s no nothing about pain. A GP spends an average of 7 hours in the whole 7 years learning about pain when they go to University. That will give you an idea of how much they know. about your pain lol. If your running into your Dr. not believing you and you have proof ie. exrays etc. Then you need to find another one who actually cares and they are few and far between . peace out Headband707
Great thread! Anyone know any compasssionate BC doc's? If so, pls pm me. West coast mentality is way more open and pretty Liberal (in theory anyways). There has to be some cool open minded doc's out here. I got a naturopath that will do the dispensary forms which is cool with the dispensary but apparently HC won't recognize his authority / status when it comes to the signing for B1/2's...
