So what about MH8 in site 3 you say? Hold on i havent got there yet i reply. So here is MH8 her beastness. Doesnt photograph as well as mh7 roots but this is a bigger plant. I can no longer touch thumb and index finger at the base. Thats what she said. Anyway this lady is at least 2 weeks behind mh7 maybe more now this one is similar to MH3 or MH4 i think. MH7 is more like the overtemped and fluffy MH5 and 6 tho.

None of my mangos have been on the super NLD side either. The relaxed stone def influenced by indica i think. Total hybrid but resinous as all get out

Im not completely happy with the shape of the mangos. I should have them praying and there is more cupping than optimal i think. Leaves could have more substance to them and be less flimsy.

Im feeding every 45min about a quart and my surface inch stays dry. However i think my gaps may be too narrow. Mh7 is about 4 1/4 and MH8 about 4 1/8. Mh8 is the most cupped but mh7 is too.

D9 you think i should raise them 1/4 or 1/2 inch?

Hey S - i inspect the halos occasionallybut my pump is 3600gph or something close. The holes are about 1/8 and dont really plug easily. I did add more holes pointing towards the inside when i raised the netpots. Raising the netpots has been a good update. MH8 is also popping grids i saw tonight.

They are green because the are exposed to air and a little light. The root becomes like a stem when exposed in my experience. Under the turface they are whiter.

I raised them both about a 1/4 and going to see if that helps

Just realized today is my IC birthday! lol happy happy lol

Got my site gaps raised higher in flower so hoping to see them pray a bit better soon. MH8 has a 5" gap now and 4 3/4 for MH7

moving my dehumi back into the lung room also where it belongs i guess. enjoyed not hearing it for a while... went to hook up my humi system and somehow managed to crack the res while it was stored so need to get on a new one of those for when the summer humidity breaks which is soon.

Hey i need some feedback on drainage line size

Right now, my PPKs are all stand alone. No drainage lines to a central res. I am going to install a central res.

I am going to connect each site res to the main res directly. so how big does such a drain line need to be? is 1/2" big enough? or is it likely to clog somehow?

HOnestly I don't think it will clog but might kink. From what I have seen other PPkers use the Rubber Goodyear hose. Each site has a line by itself. I thought of doing that but liked the sleek look of the PVC pipe going on the perimeter of the room.
There shouldn't be anything large enough in the hoses to clog so the 1/2" line would be good.
Didn't mean to answer your question for you McKush but since I all ready contemplated that route I thought I would let him know my findings as well.

Hiya RB, i use 3/4 rubber house sold for appliances like washers etc. I actually dont know if it is the goodyear or not. I went with it since it was durable but still pliable. I step on them unfortunately all the time so i need to make sure they cannot kink. I am using bulkheads and o clamps on them and i use garden hose female and male ends as well as 2 valves so i can disconnect a plant as well as pull water from a site and check levels. Im using the 7gal tubs so i like 3/4 but smaller i bet would have little impact to me. The original ppks used tire valves with the Schrader stems removed i think if i remember ok. Im guessing but as long as you dont permit a root blockage issue 1/2 is just fine.

Of course your air gap has to be sufficient to allow the feeding event but if so you are fine. D9 would know for sure.

Yes I have found Goodyear hose but it's very expensive here and smaller sizes are cheaper

I will probably go with 5/8
