IMO led's would be great if they brought good results do how little heat they produce and how efficient with electricity but I think they still have a good ways to go before they can replace hid's.

In the previous page that good sized lollypopped plant looked good but seemed to be lacking with it's buds size. No disrespect but under hid's I think it would have turned out much different.

Some chem d before chop, def needed a longer flush. I pushed them to the max feeding wise this round and they still loved it, just needed to flush longer but the buds were ripe so i thought it be best to cut em. Besides I realized this run why I love to run the 10 gals vs the 3 gals, less everything to sum it up expect final weight that's usually the same or a little better with the 10's. Anywho rambling after serious trim session, I swear the funk of the D was getting to my stomach by the end, honestly, made trimming that much worse...

shit try smoking marlboro red's a pk a day for 3o yrs,on top of multiple bong hit's....every hit is like a expierment in respotory failure.....but the real expansive bud's like the "D" if I take too big a hit...I'm puking and choking,it's a real mess but it tastes great the whole time.....

@ Ottoman ~

You really utilized the room you had to flower them girls out in. Very Nice.
Just packed every square inch with flowers. Beautiful!
I never smoked Chem D before. Dieing to try it some day.
Ive only grown out Chem D crosses, not the pure.

Yeah Otto, how to bring 'em in!
Myself, I prefer a Chem D cross over the straight up Dawg, ie. Candy Chem or Scream'n Dawg, and of course, I much prefer the ECSD to Chem, but don't have the balls to grow that stinker out! :D

Nice work Otto! I get what yer sayin bout the ChemD stank gettin to ya, that happens to me some times with a few strains. 10g vs. 3g-what kind of pots are you using? I use 5g smart pots, and airpots-10g would be kinda heavy to lift and move around lol.

I just may be getting a killer pheno of pure ECSD and I cant wait! Oh how I need a pure ECSD.
Smoked it twice my whole life and miss it wicked bad.
I grew out an ECSD bag seed that I think was ECSD X Elvis. It was dead skunk dipped in diesel fuel and totally disgusting. The Pure ECSD is nothing like that one. I miss the original. Cant wait, cant wait, cant frickin' ( in honor of Todd Hoffman of Gold Rush) wait!

Otto, I may have missed it but how many of them in 10's are there in that pic? Under 1K? How tall is that canopy? Looking phenomenal.

Hey Melty, good to see some vets checking in!

Bobbo, the Scream'N Dawg was made by CBF, one of the better breeders on the boards here. If you see anything offered by him, buy it. He really puts the work in, and it's apparent compared to all the pollen-chuckers selling stuff on SB.

He took the KKSC cut and b/c a couple of times to create Strawberry Creme, which in turn was crossed to the ChemD. :)

As Chaco described it, smells like a Strawberry milkshake poured over a dead skunk. :D

I crossed 'em w/ my own Honey White and have a few growing out now. Pics when they get nice.

Homer, 30 years of cowboy killers on top of massive bong rips....sounds just like my mother to be honest. That old bitch can rip down a pack in a day and amazingly takes bong rips like a champ still, guess I'll have to give her some of the D and she if she'll pass out; shes a tough bitch tho :). By the way that Tahoe Alien Bubblegum looks nice and frosty just like the bubblegum we had years ago, i sure hope it has the stone of the tahoe tho!

HL, thanks man...yeah the days of having an apartment filled with ECSD are over. Walking out of that place people starring or just walking down to the post office and the lady their tells me how good I smell, I just can't live smelling like the ECSD for months at a time anymore, too stressful, lol....

Alone, as HL said the ECSD is a stinker for sure be careful to me its one of those boarder line get you in trouble plants. Make sure you take care of that smell.

Basementgrower, thats all up to you, I am sure you can get simply by testing your run off if you wanted to be percise. I usually just like to give 10-14 days of flush.

Melty, This round I did 3 gals because the run before this went sour and I was looking to start something up. So this round I got 15 chem d's under 1kw. IMO this sucks because the past year I have been growing trees and after doing a round of "numbers" again the things I have noticed using the 3's vs the 10's....This round with the 3's I had to buy/use more coco, feed twice as much so more grunt work and more money in nutes, after week 3 it was damn near impossible to work in the room without swearing or stepping on something and all around just a bigger pain in the ass to take care of 15 plants under 1kw rather than 2. Remember this is all preference too, still refining everyday as grower.

Damn Otto, 15 in 3gallons under 1K...if my abacus is working correctly that equals a BUNCH of ChemD.
I've been tinkering a lot with #'s per light, too. Lately I prefer 9 plants in square pots in a 5x5 tray. 7 gallon square pots work great and they fill the tray just about perfectly doing 3 rows of 3. Like you said...always something to switch up, efficiency is king.

Those 1 plant gardens are easy to work though, aren't they??? Too bad this one didn't reach the finish line.
