Well, Belmont is a TN team so I am proud of them for reppin' the state...
Now, Vandy, on the other hand.... was a big disappointment...I want to see teams from Tennessee do well...and Vanderbilt just did not get it done...pathetic performance....3 SEC teams goin' home

Yup my boys took care of bizznaz. At one point they were up by nearly 50 points. Our 3rd stringers could start for Mt. St. Marys.

At this point, it's safe to say the Pac-10 was slightly overrated this season...overall they've had a poor showing as a conference...same for the SEC IMHO...but I'll admit that I'll be rooting for Stanford if my Tigers beat Miss State
(would like to avoid playing Texas in a home game for them)....I take satisfaction in seeing SEC schools (outside of the state of TN) pack it in....and go home

Stanford and UCLA both pulled out close victories today. Stanford has a tough matchup next against Texas(probable) which should be a great game.
Tennessee vs Butler should be the game of tomorrow because they match up well and love to shoot the 3s so should be exciting. But after watching UL play I think they come out of the East bracket, facing UNC in the elite 8. That would be an incredible matchup of athleticism, but i digress. Let the Madness begin!

All I know is that there is only one team from the SEC (out of 6) in the sweet 16 (props to UNC...that game was a total blowout!)....and they're from the Volunteer State...Tennessee (JP Prince is from Memphis...kinda bugs me he went to UT...but, that's my young homeboy)

i missed oregon also , so that put me at 23 points first round, 20 points for 10 2nd round pics, so im at 43 points total so far , duke uconn and kentucky f'd me up bad.
10 of the 16 aint so bad, whos got more, my final four is not intact, i had duke to the finals but if unc wins it all im ok.

I have 12 out of the 16 teams in my bracket. Notre Dame, Georgetown, Pitt and Uconn were the only teams that I missed on. But the Big East is still the best conference in the country without a doubt. The three remaining BE teams will make some noise.
I am suprised that Memphis played a weak Sec that close. MSU has little inside presence besides Vanardo(?) and their guard play is so so. The Tigers better pick it up before playing a tough Michigan State team. That could be a big upset if Memphis doesnt show up but they still have a big talent advantage.

Tennessee vs Butler in OT was one hell of a game. It's a crime that Butler is a 7 seed. How does that happen? They are ranked 10 & 11 in the polls! After that win today, I feel confident about this TN team. If the seniors Jujuan Smith & Chris Lofton have a big game against Lou I think TN wins. And lookout for Davidson. They are HOT right now. Davidson beat both of the Jesuit colleges, so I already have a reason to pull for them. Look for Stanford to play Texas to the wire. I think Stanford will be able to contain Augustine. Memphis should be in the Elite 8, however I don't see Memphis making the Final 4. VT, JP Prince is going to be one hell of a player for us. His only downside is that he's sloppy with the ball. On the left side of the rim, he's down-right nasty.

Very unlikely... Have some faith in your team. Memphis will play hard and make the game competitive. I don't see Memphis as the underdogs in this game. That just sounds like the media talking, if anything. Chris Lofton has a minor injury so that will make the game a little more interesting.
