What light cycle are you guys using? And how much are you watering ?
I figured I’d starve mine of water until well into bloom

does anyone know what country real seed co operates out of? im in the u.s and want to use my debit card to buy some of their thai but i gotta let my bank know which country to enable international orders for.

This is going to be interesting to see how they play out from differing conditions, I also started 12/12 from seed but switched them when 150mm to 10... now they’re well into flower and have done 9x stretch. Lucky I didn’t let them veg longer or I’d be overrun by now.

Looking for smoke reports on this strain. I really liked mine and expect lots of very positive reviews. We will see.

I think mine stretched double to triple as I recall. I train mine by bending the stem/supercropping so not sure. I do not recall it as being out of control with the stretch.

yeah. but those were few phenos, right? I think there is some trippy electric pheno in mango thai beans, just one needs more plants for it. somebody will find it and rave about it. I am sure :D

One plant the mango pheno I think. I have another going but it was mutated and stunted but will get a bit off of it.

About half of mine were mutated and stunted behaving like if it was old seed but they grow out of it, it only takes a little longer time. Their vigour is amazing, they all stretch the same

that sounds good, I see they have the british pound, but I need to know which country in the uk specifically, is it England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland. Thanks for the suggestion.

My Mango Thai were ordered this year so likely they are from the 2019 population. They are 4x stretch since everything else in the garden started to flower. I had to Ben the tops because the plants are about 7 feet tall in three gallon pots! One is more purple and the other green. The purple has less branches and is a week behind the green which has much more branching and a higher looking yield.

looks great and wild. purple one reminds me black vietnamese.. edit: this pic is from Miasa Mura

Thank you! They’re both going strong. Held up through the first rain of the season. Still got another 4-5weeks flower time. Now at 16 weeks flower, so looking like 21 weeks to finish up the Mango Thai.

What part of northern CA are you? I'm near Santa Cruz and not far from the ocean. My RSC (November 2019 version) Mango Thai plants are struggling with the much cooler temps that have arrived in the past 10 days. They too have a ways to go to finish but recent rains and cold nights (As low as the high 30s) seem to have stunned them. What were white pistils are now shriveled and the plants have turned from green with some purple in the flowers to nearly all purple. It doesn't seem like they will make it 4 weeks more. At least not in a desirable robust way.

These are among longest and slowest flowering I've grown. I also have some Orissa from India that are at a similar point and also a bit affected by recent conditions. Whether or not growing these turns out to be worth it for me remains to been seen. Congratulations with yours, they're looking better than mine and seems like they will get there.

Here's a couple pics of one of my Mango Thai plants. This one is closer to done I think. It actually looks better in the photos than it appears when you're looking at it.

Yield isn't going to be great, not much meat on these. I think you can see some sorta white pistils and this isn't all the way done but I don't think it's going to go much further before it starts going down hill.

I’m up in the North Bay. Sorry to hear your plants are having troubles. I haven’t watered mine in over a week since there has been a little rain and heavy fog. No mold so far!!

Definitely up there for me in terms of flower time but I don’t mind too much about that. Hoping for some super trippy S.E.Asian effects.

Thank you and best of luck with you flower my friend, hope they pull through for you :)

My male is now showing female bits :violin:
Looks like I’ll be using it anyway

Some folks say that the hermi males are the best to use! I know that Thai tends towards monoecious more than most other landraces so it’s not too surprising it hermd out on you. I was honestly expecting it from my females but they have been showing only lady parts. The male should still yield some quality genetics for you :D best of luck!

Mango Thai

First photos of the purple one and then photos of the green. Purple is starting to smell a little piney, the green is smelling like underripe mangoes. :)

I wonder what has been lost by culling hermies in the trippy landraces. Maybe just some unwanted seeds but it does make you wonder.
