December - 3 :
The early morning of this Sunday-3, has been on the northern slope of my mountain range, the coldest so far this year, having fallen to 0°C (32°F) for the first time. The morning was cold and foggy, but after a few hours it dissipated and the sun began to warm up, but without getting above 12°C (54°F)...

...We are going through a small cold spell, and it seems that temperatures will rise a little, but I don't think it will be enough for the correct development of the

December - 12 :
The variable and fickle nature of my inland mountain climate... If on the 3rd I had for the first time lows of 0°C/32°F (and highs of only 12°C/54°F), yesterday and today we have lows of 10°C/50°F and highs in the shade of 21°C/70°F...; but tomorrow temperatures are forecast to drop 4°(°C), and next Monday the 18th, back to lows of 0°C/32°F, and highs of only 14°C/57'5°F....

Aroma of mint and lemon (dominates the mint) and a natural soap finish.

I'm sorry I couldn't get more out of the plant, MadMac: look at how cold-burned the leaves are, and they can only get worse from now on. Undoubtedly, in a milder and truly subtropical climate, such as the fully Mediterranean, it is the right one to explore its potential...

The weather has been strange this winter.
Two weeks ago we saw our first ground frost and today we had 29c in the shade.

It would have been a lovely afternoon for going to the beach, but Mrs DM and myself have been harvesting the Original Haze. 🙂

Well, in two days, my maximum in the shade has almost been reduced by half and almost equaled my nighttime minimum from the day before yesterday; and my current nighttime lows have simply gone into free fall...

News in its aroma: now, the natural soap finish that "enveloped" the dominant aroma of peppermint and lemon, is acquiring clear metallic notes. Part of the visual aspect of ripening is simply due to the cold. The leaves of the main cola are badly burned by the cold:

Oh, without a doubt, its parents and their combination cannot, if not, at the very least, raise the eyebrows of the good sativero... And interesting people from the community, as I have read, involved in them (I seem to remember, Huesos, e.T, led05, the Haze brothers, Sam "Skunkman", JohnnyChicago, &/or Golly...), including you with the final crossing...(and it will undoubtedly generate more resin where it has a more appropriate autumn and winter)...
...But, would you still leave her on the field, with my current cold wave? It is predicted that it will last, at least, until Christmas...
Screenshot_2023_1217_223712.png

...I think it is too long with such low temperatures... And if the winter weather improves, on my northern slope of the mountain range, the daytime maximums will not exceed 16° C at the shadow during the central hours of the day, and the early mornings can be between 1° to -1°C...

Because, do you think that right now it is still maturing (although very slowly), or is it simply starting to spoil due to the cold?

Warm and grateful greetings, wishing you success in your new projects, and good health to enjoy them.

no only Huesos -> led05(SMG) - Golli(OHz) and i'll did the cross with the haze... others are bad copy #
and PLZ don't mix others in who have nothing to do with it ... also keep trouble maker out... !

i'll had lot of trouble because someone mixed all people together and shouted loud the wrong stuff...
people remember this... and once it's wrong it stay wrong and that is bad...
i'll always name my sources ... and would never share others work...
Nobody have the Golli originals or the other from Sam.
it's always sad to see if someone writes the wrong stuff...
SMG from led05 and OHz from Golli -> nobody else was involved !

I don't exactly understand the translation (who exactly is or is not involved in the origin of Cumbiambera), but it is a correction to my quote: your correction must be accepted as good, since you know more about this than I do, logically...
Excuse any error/fault.

What about covering the grow space at night?
Like a tarp or plastic sheet pulled over the poles...

Is that possible?

Edith: or maybe also around to keep out the chilling wind 🥶
December- 18:
It's too late for that; I tell you...: This morning, at dawn, I went to visit Cumbiambera, up the hill. The ground still reflected the night frost...
