Thanks Alien Dawg,These ladies have been quite the porn stars, one or two of em may end up bein' my bottom bitches...especially the first starlet in the "Day 47" update.I think a good digital or digital SLR camera is in my near future as I'd love to be able to take macro photos of these sexy ladies.

Droppin' by to see the show. That doughnut is looking real gooey and thick.

I recently realized the power of vert. The Doughnut is your friend.

I think DHF was referring to placing your bulb down so it is not too close, but the "light halo" is beneath the tops of your plants. In your case, to the junction box.

** Way to go !!! You are an inspiration to other small tent vert growers :)

Thanks Green Sky,definitely gettting gooey in there. My arms brushed a few buds when I went in there last night after taking the pics and tied a couple of branches that were starting to bend on/lean on others (because of bud weight,of course these are the taller/lankier sativa dominant plants) and my arms were like sticky lint rollers lol!

One of the reason I like random bagseed is you never know what you're going to get,and sometimes you get something magical...it's alot like life if you think about it...glad I took a few cuts to save!

The power of vert is undeniable, even if I don't bump my GPW above my best result so far with a horizontal grow in smaller are with same amount of light,I'm still happy with less to no larf all day. This is my first grow I've done that wasn't horizontal, and it like DHF and many others have said as well as what we're taught from the get go...

It's all about dialage. You gotta dial the lights on & off temps, humidity levels, root environment, lighting, ventilation, growing style,genetics,etc...everything you can think of that needs to be dialed, just do it.I have a lot left to dial, mostly in part because I rent,so environment changes. If I decide to do a yearly lease @ my current location I'll definitely be purchasing a 6500-7500 BTU window A/C too keep room temps @ 68°-72°F seeing as my 170 cfm exhaust fan keeps lights on temps in the tent about 10°F above ambient.I.m also thinking of a bigger fan on a speed controller, whether I'll do another doughnut monocropped,or step up and buy a 2nd 400w HPS and run an octagon or square doing a monocropped SOG...only time will tell, but first temps in summer will have to be dialed for sure, and probably run at least one more doughnut monocropped.

These next few weeks are going to be exciting, all the anticipation, but never pick any kind before it's time.

I assume the short indica up front will be finished as soon as 8 weeks but plan to let her go to 9 weeks depending on how the bud looks and what the trich's tell me,the others, any where from 9-10 weeks, but I have started my initial flush due to a little leaf tip burn and because it's bagseed so who knows...all I know is it's all in my hands, and each girl will be chopped only in peak ripeness which for me is anywhere from 100% cloudy/milky white trich's to 90% cloudy/10% amber.Really interested to find out what each girl yields and what final weight is.Also plan on making a lil BHO for the first time.

Wow. Jnugg, we are peas/corn here. I just went to a 2nd flower tent due to overflow, but I am cycling it now, and Mono/ Dua- cropping now.

It cuts down on the chaos. * but hard for an OCD to accept ONLY 2 kinds at once... sigh

I like your BHO direction - again, I Just dipped my toes in that pool after 22 years since AP chemistry. My first run was today :) :) 3 grams from 28 of trim w00t!

BTW - a 600w is gonna make you happier for a few bucks more

There are plans in my future for another tent and flippin & floppin between the two for a harvest every 30-35 days.I agree a 600w HPS would be better than one 400w HPS in my area but I already had the light from years ago.I may purchase 2x 600w HPS's and another 3x3 tent and flip them, but I think I might do better with 2x 400w HPS's stacked per tent and flipping. This will all be a while from now though as I like to take ALL the variables into consideration.

I gave my 400's to friends and started fresh. Just recently got another Lumatec 600 and another 40x40x70" tent. So much fun when 1 turns off, and the other on like 30 seconds later.

You are doing awesome with what ya got. And ya got plans for the future too!
Love watching your grow - Green Sky

Stacked 600's in a 4x4. Huge lumens but only in a small area. 3x400w would have been a much better choice, even light spread everywhere instead of concentrated. I'm quite adamant about this. :)

I hear ya on the even light spread and agree.

Is that a flooded tube setup in that pic or aero?

Neither. She's NTF. Pump set at 1min on, 5min off.

Tubes with holes filled with plants, a pump, a res. Don't get much more basic then that.

What are your rez temps, because I thought you have to keep nutrient solution in the rez below like 72°F?

Yeah i was averaging 65-70 temps in the res. Something about it taking longer to warm alot of water then a little bit.

I did have a lung room that pumped AC in...but that was a huge disaster in and of itself. (like most of that grow I might add) So if that contributed at all to a cooler res. it was completely by accident.

Thinking one more doughnut, then mono crop in beer cups of coco drip DTW setup in some form of bobblepods...going to wait till all plants are dried/cured and then test each myself and then gather some friends for a blind test to find the keeper(s) then I'll have a better idea of what I want to do.

Yeah I would like to run a mono with a bunch of little single cola vert doughnut, just ain't got the balls to start a bunch of plants where I am at plant count is a big deal and they weigh the soil as well so........

If I do another doughnut I might just do 4 plants instead of 5 and use plastic construction fencing like Marlo does in his WoW thread, plus with only one plant per wall it would be less crowded and could really let them stretch and fill out.

If I go SoG it will be in a octagon shaped colliseum But If I go that route I'll atleast be using two bulbs stacked.Time will tell, and I'm still young but not quite so dumb anymore.

It's the only way to do it,we can't just go based off of yeild, but based off all variables to myself and testers...Potency,Ceiling,Taste,Aroma,Medicinal qualities etc.

I'm sure what ever I personally like most that I will save a few cuts of,along with what every one else likes most.

DHF has got it right though, plant numbers dictate yeilds.Sure I can veg way longer and with less plants to get a similar yield but why not try and squeeze in as many harvests per year as one can, especially in a non friendly state...plus,SoG colas are easy peasy to trim.
