Haha yea that's what cats were doing with the 150w HPS you could get for cheap and convert them to a remote ballast grow light lol! Shit's cool though my first digital 400w setup with hood was $200 so you saved a quite a bit... As for the Kangaroots and Microbe Brew I'm digging em dude!! I'm gonna take some pics of my grow in a bit since they've been in veg for a week and now I have some roots kicking out the sides of my Eco Pots just as quick as Roots Excel in Smart Pots! Plus they look fatter this way and are nice and fuzzy! The Molasses is a good idea cuz that Microbe Brew shit even though it's got the same label damn near is said to feed the herd brought in by Kangaroots and it's working for me...

Any reason why you put the stretchy c99s on the floor and the boggles above them? I try to keep the shorter plants low and let the stretchy ones hang out in the back and stretch to get their light. It looks like a little flip flop and it will help with the light penetration...



Still waitin' on those CJ beans to make it into the bay too

Thanks for the info Thundurkel. I gotta say I'm pretty happy with what I'm seeing from the kangaroots so far. There's just a lot of changes going on so it's hard to say how much of it is the kangaroots. I'll read the label on that Microbe Brew next time I'm in the shop... but like you said, the idea is to keep those bacteria happy.

I put the sativas on the floor because Northern Farmer always said he put the stretchy plant on the bottom and the inidica non-stretchy plants on top. My interpretation of this is that the Indicas aren't going to stretch away from the light as much... and the sativas should stay within the light zone. NF seemed to know what he was doing, so I just do it b/c he said so.
Lets hope those CJ beans make it to the bay soon! I hate the anxiety of not knowing... Sending good vibes your way bro!

Oh man you're gonna be impressed with those bogglegums I gave you... They still don't compare to the Strawberry DD. I wish I was running it now to show you... but she's in veg. I'll be sure to include pheno# in the next update, so you know which is which. They're at 4 weeks flowering. Should only be 3-4 more.
