I've been medical for years and I've had LOTS of cops, CHP, and DHS agents fuck with me. It's not fun and it's a true waste of resources. Most officers I've ever been arrested by..... 18. That's right 18 LEOs to fuck with 1 "legal" med patient....
Do something right. Let's make sure no one needs to suffer the same atrocities I and others have suffered... This is 2010, no one deserves a felony record for mj.
So has anyone changed there minds ether way? Nope didn`t think so! I still think Prop 19 is going down in flames in November. Why? Because it doesn`t enjoy enough support.
...read my posts above and in a couple of other threads (I'm sure ya frequent) on this issue troll...it's all there fer ya. I'm done with ya. I'm not interested in keepin' this goin'.....have fun sport.
Fer those that feel that the end of prohibition regulations won't have any affect on Medical......I say it will....not directly yet....but eventually it will make sense to lump it all together....easier to regulate.....easier to prosecute. Just my opinion.
SHenanagins...ive been smoking close to 10 years and i know for a fact its mentally addicting, and a boderline gateway drug. i started smoking early, only smoked weed for a couple years. but when i hit high school years my love for smoking and getting high led me to shrooms, lsd, salvia, meth, coke...i loved hallucinogens.
my little cousin, i messed up. when he was really young like 12, i sort of introduced him to smoking. well freshman year of high school he dropped out because he was smoking everyday. he is 18 now and still doesnt have his degree, and is diagnosed with schizophrenia. and i hate to say it but i know the pot did not help with his situation. i live in the city around hundreds of daily smokers...some are crazy ambitious and manage to get by in life even though they smoke everyday (kinda like myself)...but i know a shitload of my fellow smokers who barely enjoy life anymore because they smoke blunts and couchlock for hours on end, every night, every day. I went into that phase for a year or two too...its too easy. it sounds good on paper, but after sitting on your ass for so long you start to feel guilthy, but its hard as fuck to stop smoking when you are surrounded by so much good bud. Today i wasnt gonna smoke, but i get to my coffee table and theres a nice fat nug of Hinda Kush my roomie left in the community tray....i just had to sneak a bong hit couldnt help myself
besides, the 19 bill still makes possession under 21 illegal so it doenst really matter.
Are you fucking joking? Cannabis a gateway Drug? Causing schizophrenia? If that was true I should be taking every drug under the sun, and be psycho as hell, but maybe because I only smoke Cannabis resin, and not bud I am to stoned to even find the gate?
Never wanted to try meth or coke but glad you lived through it even if you don't seem quite all here.....
Hint it is not Cannabis causing your problems, it is you.

What kitchen?.....what heat? Who are you anyway? Why ya barkin' at me?......don't recall havin' words with ya. No real debate...mudslingin' and a bunch of opinions is all this is. I'll move on dude.......this thread seems to have run its course. Thanx fer jumpin' in and lettin' me know.

Also the taxes collected from the bill DO NOT GO TO MILITARY. They go directly to california's education system. WHICH IS GOOD. becuase only smarter kids will make a smarter country.

thats right!!!!
school system is broken we should just shit her down.
What was the first mind-altering substance you ever tried? I'm going to guess it was sugar unless your mom was a crackhead. I'm also willing to bet that you drank a caffeinated beverage, smoked a cigarette or drank a beer before you ever tried cannabis.
So... sugar is the gateway drug.
Coca-Cola is the gateway drug.
Cigarettes are the gateway drug.
Beer is the gateway drug.
Crack-filled breastmilk is the gateway drug.
Here's the problem with the whole "gateway" theory:
The gateway theory is that trying a relatively harmless illegaldrug will lead to more harmful illegal drugs. By legalizing it, you have rendered marijuana no longer an illegal drug... so it can't be a gateway, unless of course alcohol, caffiene and sugar are also gateway drugs.
People who are willing to break the law in order to alter their consciousness in order to smoke fall into a certain type of person... namely, the kind that is willing to break laws in order to alter their consciousness.
It isn't the cannabis that is causing you to experiment with other drugs. It's your own basic temperament and wiring.
I never smoked in highschool.. didn't start smoking at all until I was about 20 and guess what my first illegal drug was?
LSD.
I was a straight and narrow guy, didn't smoke, didn't drink, didn't get high, and then I tried LSD.
Since thenm, I've tried shrooms and salvia and smoked a helluva a lot of herb. No interest in coke or meth or heroin. At all.
Been smoking herb now for about 15 years. Haven't taken LSD or mushrooms or ecstasy in many years.
Offered free drugs (like coke, meth, heroin) on a semi-regular basis... turned them down every time.
If he's schizophrenic, it is likely that he would not have graduated and would be having many issues. Schizophrenia is not caused by smoking herb.
Also, what you've described would continue to be illegal if you vote yes. This law aims to protect children from exactly what you did to/for your cousin.
Beer is illegal for those under 21, too. Did you really think it would be different?
(2008) More than 102 million Americans have tried marijuana; 15.2 million Americans are estimated to be "past-month" users. Yet there are only an estimated 1,855,000 "past-month" users of cocaine and 213,000 "past-month" users of heroin.
