Just bein sarcastic. It seems silly that they would put up such a fuss when it's readily available and many tourists use it there, among other things, and it doesn't seem to hinder their ability to dump cash into the coffers. It's just another way to enjoy the experience of gambling. I get fucking baked before going to the race track and man that is the best feeling when your horses come in.

I'll boycott the insane mega casino, at least for gambling. The Hard Rock looks awesome. A swim up black jack bar and a concert balcony called The Joint? Nice!

I can see it now... Amsterdam the hotel, casino, convention center, nightclub, brothel, seedbank and of course a cafe..

I agree with Toohighmf. If NV don't want the bizness, take it to CA. They're desparate for revenue. Think about all the state sales taxes, hotel taxes, gas taxes etc generated by a convention.

Cops are such tools, I mean how can so many morons buy into this hate of an herb that doesnt hurt anybody....it only helps. Cops spend so much time hating on herb while meth labs pop up right under thier noses. They dont like messing with meth labs though.....those guys got guns and thier half crazy, nah too much like work. Cops like to focus on herb because thier lazy donut eating hypocritical pussies! They know ganja doesnt hurt anyone, they know it helps sick people but they like to prop it up put an evil spin on it so they look like tough guys when they bust a medical dispensary. Cowards all of them. Just goes to show ya those fuckers in Vega just aint hurtin bad enough, they still got plenty o money to turn thier noses up at people, its just unbeliviable that with all the educational and positive information about cannabis all over and people are still pulling this kind of crap. I have a feeling in 10-20 years places like oaksterdam will and even better will far out do what vegas has to offer.

Wow! I am a stoner, I went to Mandalay Bay, drank and gambled there.

But NO MORE $$$ LAS VEGAS.

Stoner boycott.... stoner boycott.....

Let's see how big a decline your books show when ALL the stoners BOYCOTT LAS VEGAS.

I wanted to go to this event. durn.

I was gonna drink and gamble and buy some glass and enjoy the whole thing. Las Vegas is a little dull, I thought this would be worth going to LV for.

So in Las Vegas I can get a blow job but not a bong?

A game of blackjack but no blunts?

Vodka waterfalls without vaporizers?

That shit is just plain backwards.

Not backwards. Just the status quo of the good ole USA.

Vegas has always promoted the hypocrisy of the USA. Not suprising those who frequent there are hypocrits.

Moths to a flame.

I like TooHigh's idea. Let's get all the pot growers to invest together into opening Amsterdam: Las Vegas.

Cannonballs of vodka and vaporizers will be mandatory upon checking in. Followed by complimentary seed packs upon every hotel room pillow. Sweet!

Meto revealed their reason to the news the other day as to why they didn't want the event here.
They didn't want an event coming to town where people may bring marijuana with them.
That's the other side and the reason given. Period

See I thought this was the real reason. You can't fault the Mandalay then, cause they WANTED AND BOOKED the event!

So you see it's the entire MINDSET of Vegas to discriminate against marijuana users. So the Mandalay gave in to police pressure over this event, as was apparent by the turnout of police at the security discussion that precipitated the cancellation.

So just boycotting the Mandalay or MGM properties isn't enough. We must boycott the entire city, so the the powers that be - over the police - put pressure on them to let up on marijuana users.

We must raise this issue to an even higher plane!

We must keep this publicized because it is an issue we can WIN!

We can get the hotels/casinos on our side if we boycott them. They will pressure the cops to relent, then we can have our conventions there, and everyone can be happy...

Who really runs Vegas? The POLICE? I don't think so...

More letters/phone calls to the MAYOR might be effective as he has some power over the police. Oscar Goodman's the man to contact. I once serviced his law firm...
