Yeah this fem grow is uncharted territory for me. I taught a guy I know how to grow the herb a while back and he's been thru many runs already with fem seed and he's always been successful 10/10 germ and no herms from a few brands. Seeing his success prompted me to try this, not to mention I was given a pile of free fem seeds from many breeders so I figured what the hell. This grow will help me determine which fem seedmakers are worthy of the time. I have more fem seeds from paradise, serious, magus and dna in the fridge for my next run aswell.

Veg Day 44 Photo Update
I think tomorrow is going to be the day I flip to 12/12 these plants have been growing like crazy. Im going to try to find the time tomorrow to take cuttings of the OGK's, Sour Kush, Warlock, BBI, and one of the best looking cocoa kushes. All of the plants got some heavy LST again today, canopy is evenly tied to about 4" above the top of the grow bags.

As I posted earlier this week I was having problems with my OGK's drooping like crazy, well I got to the bottom of that the other day. I checked the pH of my tap water and it was almost 8, my soil is heavily amended with dolomite and oyster shells to the pH must have been crazy high. I use to apply to the thought that with organics pHing wasnt necessary, well lesson learned. I used to be able to get away with not pHing because back over the winter my well water was 6.5ph,this summer its running about 8, thats crazy, I didnt realize well water was so susceptible to change. I mixed up about 10 gallons of pH 6.5 water the other day and gave it to them, all plants perked right up in about 24hrs.

I know veg'ing plants is boring as hell, I appreciated all of the on lookers stopping by, I expect this room to explode when I turn the timer to 12/12, hopefully that will bump up the entertainment level a bit.

Update Day 1 flowering

Today is day 1 of 12/12 :woohoo:

Wtching plants veg has got to be the most boring thing on earth. Here is some bud porn from my last grow, so all the viewers at home can see where Im going with my LST. I want plants just like these, only BIGGER!

Flowering Day 2 Update

I hosed all the plants down last night with a liquefied seaweed foliar spray last night, plants love it and look like they doubled in size over night. I went crazy tying down branches tonight, canopy is looking so full an even. Took cuttings of CK1, CK2, OGK1, OGK2, BBI1, Warlock and Sour Kush tonight. It's my first time cloning with rapid rooters, anxious to see how well they work. OGK1 and 2 have rebounded 100% from last weeks pH problems and their growth has really exploded.

I'll be back this weekend with a photo update.

PHOTO UPDATE Flower Day 4

These girls have been hit with heavy LST every day this week. The CheeseBerry Haze x Mystery father and the Iced Grape Fruit x mystery dad showed female sex this week and have been transplanted into 2 gal pots. Plants have been stretching like crazy and I have been busy tying them down everyday. Im still waiting on the 2 SSH's to show sex. 3 out of 4 BBI's Im pretty sure are male. I've been giving these ladies water pH corrected to 6.4 and they seem to love it.

First is Magus Warlock, the next 2 is my LST technique utilizing twist ties and BBQ skewers, I do this to keep every bud site safe and protected and to space everything out evenly so every bud gets plenty of light.

My D.N-A Feminized Rocklock turned out to be a full blown male, good thing I have a few extra female to fill its spot.

FLOWERING DAY 14 PHOTO UPDATE

The grow room has been a busy place this week. Plants are growing so fast it's been taking me an hour a day of LST to keep things in check.
To this date the only nutrients these plants have received is liquidfied sea weed foliar just spray 3 times.


Pic 1 is Chronic, I took a different approach to LST on chronic. I have read not to mess with the main stem so I trained all of the side branches into a nice even hedge shape, each branch perfectly spaced from the one next to it.

This second pic is a close up of the leaf twisting I have been doing on every plant to open up the individual canopy. I find leaf twisting a nice alternative to removing large fan leaves.

First up is my absolutely beautiful sativa leaning BlueBerry Male. When I look at this one my mind runs away thinking of the possibilies. He has it all, vigor, fast flowering, its not picky with its food.

i started to laugh to myself when u told us u were going to pollinate the whole room. i' sure it's fun to do. would u know what the estimated time on the seedlings would be for every batch???

i'm sure they would all be a great smoke but i like the stavia side of things. thing is they always seem to put a whole in my bank account. enjoy

FLOWERING DAY 24 PHOTO UPDATE

This details of this grow have changed slightly, my plants out grew my 600W footprint so i had to fire up my 250W grow tent and throw a few plants in there to get them adequate amounts of lights. I planned poorly and ended up with WAY too many plants this run. So from here on out this will be an 910 watt grow, its 910w because my 600HPS is being over driven on superlumens to give it a 660W output.

Things have been moving along quite nicely since my last update, the plants are growing HUGE and the flowers are starting to form. My OGK1, CK1 and CK2 grew so large I had to put them under their own scrog screens to help spread out their canopy and give support for the buds to come. The Warlock just keeps getting bigger I felt it was too large for its 3 gal bag so I up sized its root space by adding another 2 gallon pot underneath it, its flowers are forming faster than most anything else in the room.


About 3 days ago all the plants in the room recieved their first aerated compost tea which consisted of 5 gallons of water, 5 tbs EWC, 4 tbs kelp meal, 1 tbs jamaican bat guano, 3 tbs indonesian bat guano and a few tbs molasses.

There is a few plants not featured in this update, when they start to form some flowers I will show them in the updates, these include SSH and the 2 myster crosses I have running.

That was bit bit of an overstatement on my part, what I should have said is I plan to pollinate a few buds on each plant :)
