Karma's Sour Jack Testers

Hey bro, thanks for stoppin in. To answer your question, I use rapid rooters to get my seeds started. They are small enough that when you get them in a 1 gallon + bucket, it's like they are part of the stem.

I found putting it in pure perlite made it very difficult to keep them moist enough to survive. I had a little trouble with that,

Anyways, thats just my thoughts on it .. RRs have worked almost 100% of the time for me.

Cool, I've always found germinating in paper towels to be the most reliable way for me, so it's just easier to plant the sprouts in promix... but maybe I should try germinating in rapid rooters again sometime...

Ohhh, you mean germinating. I misunderstood you. Germinating I do in the paper towel as well and then drop them in the rapid rooters once I get a nice little tail going.

I highly recommend rapid rooters, I've had almost 100% success with clones in them and a very high success rate for seeds. But to each their own of course.

Cheers bro,

Glad you enjoy - they are a pleasure to grow and show.

Right now I am debating my next move. I have plenty of medicine for the summer, although I really do want to try a SCROG before I shut things down for the summer season. Just not sure what I want to do! Any thoughts?

peace,

Just wanted to share my little ScrOG, coming along nicely at 7 weeks now. Looking forward to seeing the yield on this one!

Hey nukklehead, glad you are enjoying.

These are not related to the Sour Jack's released by Alien. These are Karma's Sour Jack and I believe the lineage is a Rez's Sour Diesel IBL mom x Karma's Jack Dad (#22?) which I believe is a local Holland version.

This is definitely top notch smoke. I am pumped because almost all of this is going into my head stash and I have lots of fun things to make with the trim as well.

I hate nanners, thats from the mom (SD IBL) she does it in far flower somtimes never got a seed tho. In the Sour Jack its much less only some pheno's apperntly throw a nanner late in flower, no pollen tho.

By looks i would say that one is more on the Jack site of the crossing.

Yea, bro, they are usually real late in flower, the last 5 days or so. Never even develop enough to make pollen so it's no worries. I figured it was from the SD IBL though.

There were actually 2 phenos in the SCrOG (I know, not the ideal way to do it). The one you are probably looking at is the #5, more Jack leaning. The #2 (with the nanners) is more SD leaning. Both amazing smoke :tiphat:
