Definately agree there Nomaad! I think the reason people say Indica is that it's much more marketable at least in Socal. Grow em outdoors and the truth comes out...grows like a smaller (yeah I know they can get big) sativa. Pure sativas sometimes have the same structure but the buds definately aren't as dense. I always thought name Ocean Grown Kush had a bit of sarcasm to it since it is obviously heavy sativa with some kush (indica) thrown in the mix that weighs heavy on the buds for certain traits. Kind of like saying "this is the kind of 'kush' we grow on the westside!"' And you don't get the joke till you grow the plant. Probably get a lot of shit for that opinion, but hey..it's just that.OG Kush is far from an indica.
While Bubba Kush and Master Kush, Afpak etc are all indicas, and certainly indica dominant, OG "Kush" is at best a 50/50 sativa/indica and in its growing characteristics and smoke profile its sativa dominant for sure.
The "kush" in OG Kush is a misnomer whose origins I will not get into.
I have seen a hundred OG crosses, S1's, prolly plenty of s3's 4's and 5's and never have a seen an indica dominant progeny that wasn't crossed with an indica. Anybody else?

my OG's stretched almost four feet in 2 weeks. Indica my ass.
relative comment. how big were they before?
My Og's never get more than 2x size, even after stretch. dunno if light is an issue at all.
to answer your question, my current run of OG started flowering at about 1.5 feet tall. a couple weeks in they were about 5 feet.
