Anyway, the next stuff we were getting was really amazing. It was definitely some sort of haze. The leaves where so skinny, and the buds were so sativa looking. The few seeds that I got, where small, very dark with even darker "speckels." What was really amazing about this strain, was the high and taste. My family lives in New Jersey and whenever I visit, the weed we get is from Washington Heights. It had that same taste and high. I've never been to a Catholic Church, so I don't know if that's what it tasted like, but it was that perfumey, incencey, amazingness that I've only experienced when I go to New Jersey and get those 20 bags that only weigh .9, lol. Same high as well. So that leads me to believe that the mysterious "Piff" is really just a haze of some sort, because I'm sure this was the very same strain, or very closely related.
horror business
it sound like it was some kalimist that church smell every one talks about .
i have 3 kalimist in flower now and every one who smokes it loves it .but i think their might be a better haze hybrid that i want to try like original haze and make some crosses. i had a mexican sativa back in 2000 that looked like a house plant it had wide leafs and then in flower it took on the look of a sativa with a high of pure adrenalin and smelt like a pine tree .

i think it was raco who said ´´ the hybridization of ecuatorial sativas´´ ..
but i´m sure there must be a real sativa somewhere........

TomHill said:The Mexican comes from a friend in San Diego. You know the type, a few hundred keys in the garage at any given time. Anyhow, this old guy sees oodles of Mexican bud several times a year from the newer ("pretendica" or "Arizona skunk") hybrids to the old true Mexican sativa spears. He gladly accepted a mission to save seeds for me from a top quality shipment of the latter. He got back to me two or three years later with these seeds and a sample of some heavy outstanding Mexican spears from the shipment they came from. That was last year or the year before. I have yet to grow this one folks, but I am definitely looking forward to it.
Best Regards,
Tom

If the Mexican farmers are mixing in some indica, the plants will have to adapt(change) over time for the enviroment. High heat and humidity are not the friends of fat leafed and tight buds. Fat leaves are helpfull in trapping morning moisture.
Raco had a nice term for it
