How to Garden By The Moon

H

headfortrinity

I like 3 rd quarter, in a fruitful sign. There is 2 green dots on the dates in November where it is really good. I think it is around 6th and 7th. That is when it is all going down on my seeds.

The SSSDH/JH Which I am gonna call Sour Jack is gonna go up on the ICMag auction.

So you can get some then for sure..

Thanks again Lola, I'll keep an eye out for your Sour Jack it looks real good.

Hi Free Fall: Look at the charts on here a couple pages back, dunno where my Book is right now. Also in the Social groups under Moon Garden if you have trouble finding it!

Thanks for the nice words! I appreciate it!

Hey Gang!

Lots of little clones are just now coming out of the box! Almost all the COBs have rooted, a couple Grape Krush. I used some really cheap peat pellets on the Apophis, and it has set them back on rooting...

That Cali Orange #2 Mom is blooming like wildfire, so I want to do a whole run of Cali Oranges.

The SSSDH/JH clones are really looking weird! They got a reveg look to them, the ones cut after sexing. Dunno if they are ever gonna bud????? Make sure you get a clone of this strain from a veg plant, not a plant that has bloomed. They make way better clones in veg. The bloom ones ain't right... haha.

thanks for stopping by! Nice to chat!

my fingers are green. Finger hash time!

I been picking all those seeds out of the SSSDH/JH!

Looks like a bumper crop. I estimate 1,000 pretty easy.

I wound up with very little buds though, after it was over. Hope them clones do something pretty soon.

Speaking of clones.... my clones are kicking butt and taking names! Looks like it will be a very Merry Christmas in the Moon Garden if all goes well.

I think this book is worth a read, even if just skimming.

http://www.amazon.com/Moon-Rhythms-Nature-Cycles-Organisms/dp/0863153607

Short description:
This fascinating study brings together a wide range of observations of lunar influences on living organisms from plants to humans. For the reader without specialist knowledge, it offers an introduction to the complex subject of lunar influences on the Earths biosphere.A brief introduction to the Moon and its rhythms in astronomical terms is followed by a study of the tides and complex ocean movements with which numerous organisms are connected in their life process.Selected organisms are described in detail with a chapter on the spectrum of human rhythms leading into a description of the whole concept of time.

Who's a pretty clone? (Lola talks baby talk to her children)

Ain't they pretty ya'll? A whole box of Cali oranges and a couple of Grape Krushes.

This is the best smelling b ox of clones I have ever produced. I can smell the Oranges when I take care of them! Also the grape krush Muscadine Mash smell soooooo good too!

Dunno if it was the moon, the beans, or both Lola... but this last round started on the 6th has been my most explosive start ever. Thanks again. :smoke:

I think it is the Moon's Powers Strainbrain!

Yes Hippie, it smells like a bag of oranges! really strong!

I am different opinion than Llewelleyn's Moon Sign book. Llewellyn's sez to plant 1st and 2nd quarter fruitful sign, but I find MJ does best under 3rd quarter fruitful.

I find that using the 3rd quarter fruitful will give me plants with vigourous roots and they clone much, much easier too.

I have done clones in good and bad signs. I never lose a clone in 3rdquarter/fruitful, but always have trouble with bad sign cloning.

Also I get more healthy plants!

I've never lost a clone, though I've had batches of the same strain vary from 8 days to 25... so I don't bother with the moon phase when cutting.

Seeds, on the other hand, I've had my worst runs on bad signs and my best runs on good ones. I think I'll stick to the moon when it's time for beans - every time.

It does work, don't it Strain? :)

3rd quarter is the bomb for cloning.

To experiment, this last 3rd quarter I cut a batch of clones and didn't even use rooting powder. 100% success! They beat the batch WITH rooting powder! WOW!

Got my jar lid sealer today! I am vacuum packing weed in jars! Darn, they are super hard to get open! Works great!

Here's the latest pic of ole Cali Orange, my pet.
