How do you pronounce the "X" in a cross like sk "X" nl

I see quite a few breeders in youtube videos say something like "this is a skunk "times" NL cross. This sounds dumb. How do you say it?

Do you say....
"X" like the letter
"crossed to"
"times"
or other?

It's up for interpretation. The X just means that the offspring is of those two parents. You could say:

Crossed to
Crossed with
knocked up by
etc

Basically anything is appropriate that gets across the message that the offspring is from the two parents.

"crossed with," i say -

"z". . . i dont know if that simplifies it or complicates it. . . (answer from the second post)

a google search on botany genetic crossing would prob yeild the widest accepted answer

the mother is 1st in the equation, so...

skunk rode hard by NL, or smashed out by the NL stud...

or NL did skunk nasty and wont return her calls !!

skunk f_cked nl would sound well.. :D but..

i'd use crossed by/with. anyway, mostly i type so never had such a big concern about it.
