no, i don't want to rip out all of this new plumbing i just installed so i'm going to just add a tire valve to each plant reservoir. this will give me 2 inputs and 2 drains/sub-feeds each.

but those from grainger are very expensive. go to www.dudadiesel.com for cheap ones. they are on the same page as the cone tanks.

Agreed on the price. I was just throwing those out there as an example of bulkheads. I like the simplicity but wondered if they would work in what you guys have been discussing because of the round shape.

the 1/2" ones should be ok in a bucket but any bigger and the radius problems compound fast as you go up.

HL - Orca vs primer has been conducted. Orca wins, but just barely.

Primer - 4800 lux
Orca - 4900 lux

Not sure if the price difference justifies the added cost over primer, but that's up to the individual gardener to decide.

Sours are definitely kicking ass for ya!

Thanks for doing the reading MD.
Primer is probably close to primer/paint. Well the reading is good enough for me.
I will use the orca for things that are not painted. Atleast till the walls get dirty then I will cover that.

HL - Pointed my t5 at a primered (three coats thick fwiw) drywall section, placed my light meter on a table pointed at the wall so both measurements had equal potential. Measured the primer, then spread ocra over the same area and measured again. Not highly scientific, but I just wanted to know which is better. Might go ahead and get some more revelant numbers with HID lighting. That way I can work out useful percentages. It did get me wondering if reflective paint might be just as good as orca though. More testing will likely be done on that in the future. My plate is overflowing atm.

Krusty beat "Ultra-Flat White Bathroom Mildewcidal" paint on walls , floors , and ceilings for that "warm glow" as he used ta call it into our heads forever and a day so I did what I was told........and.......

I ran that shit for at least 10 yrs till I saw Heath rockin smaller rooms with everything that wasn`t green in the equivant of reflectix in the UK.......

Needless to say I was hooked......and ran it for 20 yrs with dialed results and peace of mind from no hot spots and even light diffusion/dispersion .....but......

If Orca and primer aren`t that much different , and reflectix`s not as good as orca.......wtf.....ultra-flat white bathroom mildewcidal paint `s on the shelves at every hardware and home improvement store so.......

Ya`ll handle it and post results.......knowledge is power......

Lookin good HL my buddy.....

Dial on.......Freds.......:ying:.........
