haxi's first real outdoor grow: 2010

Hello swazi,
well I'm using water curing this time because the blueberry is not mature at all, so she haven't been flushed, and the branch broke 2 days after that we water&fed with chimical fertilizers (hesi bloom and hesi PK+), so she's full of nutriments and fertilizers.

I guess water curing should remove every chimicals from the plant.

It's just a test, I don't realy know much about this technique so all I want is to make my own opinion.

I hope the air-drying buds won't taste that harsh (because of the fertilizers).

It's adviced to let the buds 7 days in water, and change that water everyday (I'm changing it right now, god damn it smells strong!).
I'll probably don't let them that far, it will remove all the taste and odor.
I'll pick up some at 3 days, 4 days and 7 days. (I love testing as you can see)

Hello everyone!

The harvest is beginning TODAY!
Finaly!

We'll go to the spot, water/feed and harvest parts of the white widow.
We will probably let the lower buds mature a week more.

I've been very high in the last 24hours, and we went to the spot at night so it was very difficult to get good pictures...

We harvested a few tops of the white widow, they are drying right now. We let the other buds to fatten up.

Weather forecast: 3 days rain, I hope that the girls will pass thru it without mold.

Fingers crossed, happy time is beginning!

Time for anxiety, it rained a lot during two days, I'm not very worried about mold but I'm worried about the branches breaking under the weight of the buds (+ rain water)...
My friend went to the spot, he told me that nothing broke, but the buds are hanging, suffering from the rain/wind.
No signs of mold.

The nice weather should be back soon, hopefully we have a nice sunny week so the white widow will be cut thursday or friday.

I'm excited and anxious at the same time!

Went to the spot today, chopped the white widow.
I had to work a lot, because the buds are too heavy and the branches don't like it, but know I fixed every branch it should be ok !

The 3 buds cut( the pre-harvest) from of the white widow yield quite nice: 30grams dry.
Considering there are 9 buds of the same size or bigger than the previous cut, we are hoping for 80-100g from what's drying.
The white widow have very compact nugs with a beautiful smell.
How many do you think that the girls left will yield?

Looking very nice Haxi , how did you get on with the water cure ? . Not something i`d want to try myself because of having to dry the buds after immersion for a few days .

Hello guys time for an update!
So the white widow is now dry and yield 90grams. Not bad.
But the most interesting things are still under the sun!

The girls are lovely! Each girl is smelling totaly awesome!

We expected bigger buds this year, but we didn't know that the sun goes so low in the sky during fall, so the plants have less sun.
But everything is coming along well.

This is the realy exiting part. Blueberry and big bang harvest next week! (30 oct)
