speaking of vaccinations...there are a couple under testing right now that i can't wait for! two different vaccines are under development against Lyme disease. one is undergoing phase 3 trials right now. another company (Tarsus Pharm) is testing a combination that will kill ticks that bite you BEFORE they can transmit the various viruses etc that cause disease. it kills 98% of ticks in a matter of hours after biting, versus the 36 to 48 hours a tick requires to transmit a disease. the active ingredient is one currently in use for dogs/cats stc, a drug called lotilaner.

The main issue with the vax is that they picked the part of the virus that is physically damaging to cells because of its shape. Whether it’s the virus or the vax, spike protein is like crushed glass going through your cardiovascular system.
The whole Covid response could have learned a lesson from the cannabis prohibition issue. When you put out false information people stop believing you, even if you are now putting out correct info.
Saying the vax would stop infection and transmission was a mistake. If it was marketed as protection from serious illness only right off the bat, more people would have taken it.
