Seems like my internet is finally up and running at the new Internet Provider..

I have been to busy to put the next seeds batch into soil, but hopefully ill be able to do it tomorrow.
Too tired for pix now so that have to wait also.

That nepal cross sounds very good and ill definatly have it in mind.

Hi gunnar, read i a different thread that u had been considering c99 x oldfarmers nepal, must say that sounds like a pretty sweet cross, that one as well as oldfarmers x nepalese higland, as mentioned above!
I saw one picture on dcf of one of the early nepals from this year (think it was oldfarmers, at least it was a nepal), and since then i have been reading up on the nepalese strains, they sound pretty interesting, think ill have to get some for next year

That reminds me what happened to oldfarmer?.. anyway, good luck, hope to see more updates soon!

Updates are mostly from the seeds i purchased at SeedBay, some very nice DC beans and crosses i received and some Gonzo Seeds which are suppose to be a very early and potent DK outdoor Skunk

Plants had been moved to external grow room and the apr. 70 plants are now under 2x600 watt HPS

A few days later


Room is still a bit messy as im far from preparing it and still needs a proper floor, insulation and ventilation.
But i didnt wanna postpone the project anymore and its still usable and being worked on as the plants are growing.

Im using this lamp.
Its 175 cm long. 75 cm wide and has room for 2 600 watts hps bulbs.

A friend bought it in holland. Unfortunatly i cant find any shops that ships it to Denmark cause of the fragile design so if i need more of them i have to go get them myself in Holland.

The 4 Nepalese Highlands donated by Maffe. Originating from ACESEEDS.
Middle its Lebanon 27 a danish adapted hybrid mostly with sativa origin.
To the right theres Royal Danes. An early Danish land race.

To the left we have the 9 Arjans Haze#1 and to the right far away we have a few WW and closer we have Jock Horror from Nirvana




Same as above but to the far right you can glimpse some Hazed ErdPurt ( Tophaze #Green x ErdPurt).

Might be difficult to se under this hps light but 2 of the Arjans Haze#1 and a few others have been yellowing a little at the tops.
Natures way of saying they have had a little too much water last time so they werent watered Saturday as planned.
Ill look today of anyone of them are needing, otherwise i wont water them until Monday.
Also a few of the plants were showing small signs of light shock.
Tops were 85 cm from the bulbs.
I moved the lamp up so theres now 100 cm between the tops and the bulbs.
Ill inspect careful the next days if further adjustments are needed.

Might be difficult to see with pix taken from my cellular ( ill remember my Canon next time) and under the hps light but the Blue Berries are already showing some of their purple and blue colours.

Sorry to break my promise but i forgot to bring my digicam when i was by the grow room today, so you have to do with pix from from mobile phone.
I hope my digicam will also be less sensitive to the HPS stripes but time will tell.

Heres a little update from today.
Plants still showed small signs of light shock so i moved the lamp upwards and its now about 110 cm above the top of the plants.
Soil was still a little wet in most of the larger pots so i only gently wateret some of the small pots.
i took a few shots of the biggest and best looking plants from each strain.

Ive been promised some Nepalese jam also and i hope they arrive soon and im looking forward to it.

Notice the big fat ass leaves.
unfortunately one of the HPS stripes are just clouding the stem and its a little difficult to see it, but both stem and start of the leaves are already showing purple colors.

Its gonna be one of the backbones in making crosses that are outdoor suited, early and mold resistant, and of course suited for our Nordic climate.

might be hard to see from the pix but its actually the biggest one of all the plants.
closely followed by an AH and a BB.

Havent had time to germ the next seed batch yet and i should be getting a few more and exiting beans Wednesday so i think ill wait 2 more days cause there should be some very interesting strains and crosses among the awaited so i can put those in the next batch instead of waiting for number 3.

Impressive m8!! By the way, i think i read in a thread on dcf, that if u try to grow the leb27 indoor, they auto-flower... Its been a long time since i read that thread, so i dont remember who wrote it/grew it. Im guessing u are a better grower than who ever it was who grew it there.. But if it starts acting up, thats probably why.. Ill try to find that thread for u!

hmm not easy to find those posts, but as far as i could understand Xpert had problems with both leb27 and royal-dane indoor.. they all whent auto flower on him.. And a bunch of random people have had the same problem. Anyway, im guessing u can still use the males, take and use the pollen from them, but it might be hard to use the females, since they should become verry small...
Im thinking the genetics are still good enough, though there is a chance the plants are odly small.. Who knows, maybee u will have more luck! Anywhoo, looking forward to see the project progress

Tnx for the interest and esp for the warning.
ill keep an extra careful eye on the strains mentioned.
i plan to run them 24 hours in grow period and i hope that will keep them from going AF?
But if not ill just use the pollen as you said.
As to having outdoor strains indoor under HPS ive noticed that RD and Leb27 are actually the slowest growing until now, but in such a short time i think it would be to early to tell for sure.
Time will tell.

hopefully they will all grow without problems.
My plans are to select the best 2-3 females from each cross and strain and use the best 2 males.
Both for crosses but also to make a few pure seeds for use later.
Also im a bit exited to find out how f1 crosses are doing later on.
If they loose some of the grow vigour and potency from the f1 when they become f2 etc, or if its possibel to stabalize it and have a good future strain originating from an f1.
I think some of them might do good as f2, f3 etc and other might now

I can tell that i had some very nice genes in the mail today.
They will be in the updates strain list when i put the next seed batch in soil.
just got home and had a long rough day, so its not gonna be today.

The ISP chance from TDC to CC took me 2 weeks without internet and a damn big cellular bill cause i couldnt stay of the net and use my mobile phone to connect

The 2 seed runs are further apart in time from what i had planned so i cant cross them directly casue to would be too far apart in blooming time.
So what ill do is this.

Ill of course cross those from the first batch as both crosses and pure seeds.
those from first run i plan to cross to second run ill do by saving pollen and use it on second batch
