were you getting stem rot before you were using your Aero cloner?
if not what was the problem then?
if so perhaps you should use a systemic fungicide on the mother plants to try and kill any infection they might have.
if the water temp for your Aero cloner was over 70F then that would be a problem. you could try h2o2 in the water to keep it sterile.
I don't do a whole lot for my cuttings. I put them in Rockwool and put them in a humidity dome and then usually don't even touch them for about 3 weeks. at which point most of them will be rooted. if they're at a little bit higher temperature or under better light than they usually root a little bit quicker. but I usually just have them off to the side and one of my veg rooms.
but if they get a fungal infection it seems to keep coming out in the humidity dome and causing a problem. like powdery mildew, that infects the plant and then lives inside of it and keeps coming out of it to reproduce and sends spores all over your room. no matter how much you steralise your room or the plants, without a systemic fungicide you will not get rid of it.
good luck I know it can be frustrating when your clones aren't taking.
