want to say i used to take it at about 58 -60 days under the 600s in 3gals, im curious if that will change in my new setup, 1ks and beds. havent flowered it in a min i cant wait

Got all 3 back in for another round. Trying to decide if I should keep #2 or #3.

#1 Is the 49 day one so im keeping it for that reason alone.

#2 is the most resinous and most potent.

#3 is more flavorful than the rest, imo.

For the folks with the legit clone, whats the one trait you like the best about her?

the green crack is special to me for many reasons. i bought my first bag of it on vacation in venice beach. that was in 04 or so. it was the first time i ever smoked something that i knew i wanted to grow.
i brought an 8th back to the east coast. even though i lived just a few hours from where it was originated, noone in my circle had ever heard of it. i told everybody! my neighbor at the time was a fucking astrophysicist... i smoked a bowl with him one night. he tapped after his second hit, and fell out on the floor a minute later! i thought it was a fluke or he just holding his breath or something. embarrassed as hell, he collects himself and tries to beat a hasty retreat.when he gets to my front door, he cant operate the doorknob. this guy had an iq of 190. hes trying to open the door, and locks the deadbolt. then hes really confused. after about a minute of messing with the doorknob, he yells out "its happening again!!" and the motherfucker fell out AGAIN trying to figure out the doorknob. my other buddy jumps up and crows at the top of his lungs - you got knocked the FUCK out! he finally made it out the door and stumbled back to his apartment. poor guy wouldnt look me in the eye for two weeks. after he finally started talking to me again he said he was so high when he went home that he was scared to go to sleep. sat on his bed all night terrified.
i knew then she was the one. she was my unicorn. it popped up in high times two years later and everyone freaked all over again. i started growing in 08, still took me years to get her. so i keep her cause shes a trophy for me. a personal reminder that i can do whatever i want if i try. and make the right connections.
once i laid my hands on her she did not disappoint. back when i was taking shit down at 8 weeks no matter what, she made a big difference in my room. she is super finished before 60 days. so theres that. she tastes like nostalgia for me, much like the piff or AG would be for old timers. theres that too. and although the high might not stack up to shit like the glue, its a great daytime or wake and bake for me. makes me feel like a teenager again

For the folks with the legit clone, whats the one trait you like the best about her?

I haven't had the privilege of growing GC but did pick some up at a dispensary in Portland last June, it had a really nice tangy and fruity aroma, I wouldn't have minded taping the bag under my nose so I could smell it continuously haha. Lime green with bright orange hairs, could def see the Sk#1 influence in there (or at least I imagined I could)

yeah i guess i didnt really answer the question. hope you enjoyed the tale at least. i guess her winning trait for me is the bouquet, they say smell is most closely linked to memory.

I have been growing GC for about 7 years now and not sure how I would take it if I ever lost her.

I grow in soil using many lines of nutes over that 7 years and found Advanced Nutrients to give me yield and a to die for aroma and taste. ( Don't really care what anyone thinks of AN just saying. ) Also found using Dual Arc lamps gives the best and the last 2 weeks when flushing I switch to full HPS.

Harvested from 45 days to 65 days with I think 55 days being fine. It is easy to clone , PM resistent , hermie free not one nanner ever and I have dealt her some blows and nothing. ( this last run twice I left the overhead light on and had a 36 hr light cycle a month in and the day after the SuperBowl I lost power for 2 light cycles and no problems.

The flowering tent smells like a mix of gc and gg4. Its like a glue candy. Makes you wanna eat it.

Shes getting foxfarm nutrs with boosters all at half the recommended dosage. Any tips you wanna throw at me feel free, Im all ears.

Im thinking about doing a 2 week perpetual instead of a 3 week cycle now. I took as many cuts from #1 as I could.


I was thinking the gc might just be a selection of desirable traits from Sams skunk. How doe she compare to the sweeter, more fruity skunks?
