Pretty hardy.
Second that.....mine arrived from a transamerican tour skidding sideways with the wheels falling off. and she's doing just fine...
Pretty hardy.
So, I'm an east coaster heading to the Bay area next week and have a prospect of picking up a GG#4 cut. I'm planning on putting the cut/s inside a sliced open damp sponge sealed in a plastic bag and coming back east with. The cut will be in the sponge for 2 days max. You see any problems there? Are these cuts temperamental or are they hardy?
my nutes just wont hold up in a rez so i have a small table set up and i have been doing manual long cycle flood and drain...i dump the nutes in,let them soak in for a few hours and drain the waste...only need to do that every three days, seems to be working pretty well so far...
Having spent money on air pots and smart pots, I felt dumb when my yields multiple runs were the same as regular pots that I already owned. Zero differance accept having to water way slower to not leak shit everywhere. Flood n drain they are tits but hand water or top fed suck a fat one IMO. And they dry out faster = more work for zero increase in yield. And more money spent unnecessarily
Reg Pots are fine with me
My glues are getting fat grenades on top a week sooner than I've had in the past. Bout to start week 7 and the flush in a couple days. Pleased with the yield again.
sunshine advanced mix#4Is your medium coco/perlite? Plants always look great!
sucking requires a pressure difference... the plants don't pressurize or depressurize the container in order to absorb water and nutes... I believe the roots use capillary action.
the medium should do the job of holding the water... the air pots allow for auto bonsai by air pruning the roots, and they jus add extra aeration which roots enjoy they also make overwatering more difficult, but under watering easier.
I think they have their uses, but I digress, back to glue
