100% they are not fems
there aren't any fems of this line from tonygreen
Save that runt ;)
I've grown out 45 Gorilla Bubble Bx2 and 10 Bx4 now since 2016(?)
Many keepers were found but I like to keep popping beans so only kept a few around for 2 or 3 runs.
I did find that most of the time they did not show preflowers until they were flipped to flower. Unlike other varieties that start to show preflowers around week 5 or 6 in veg.

Spot on all of it lol. After flipping (as u mentioned) they still looked female until about a week in. The runt and the unique one with the longer leaves both turned out to be male and I cut them from my scrog.

Luckily it was early enough I was able to train others to fill the gap for the most part.

One of them stretched about 8-10” while the other three females went about 12-14”.

I took clones of all (tossed the males) and will run the 4 females (from the 6 I popped) again. I ran a SourJack this run to ensure great smoke but it grows much faster and eats way more to go along with another 10 days of flowering I’m guessing. I have a great one of these vegged but I think I’m not going to run it with these GorillaBubble chicks so I can dial them in better.

Here’s some pictures. Flipped on April 8th. I really like the structure of the plant. It almost makes a ladder and forms knuckles at each node. I do heavy LST, bending and topping.

Any feed back is appreciate as I’m here to learn and enjoy your great strain.

Looking good! Fine example of the wonderful branching and sturdy structure select for.
Go to town. They love being tied up and trained and respond beautifully to pruning.:tiphat:

Here is a bx4@ 39 days looking like its gonna be a early one a lot of hairs turning already. Got 3 in the middle of a 4x4 surrounded by 2 other strains which arnt showing the color change so dont think anything got pollinated. I'll have to get in there and check trichs soon. For example here is a ak47 x superskunk x my bx1f1 keeper in the same room same time frame. I took at 65 last round. The bx1 brought alot of frost to her i only got 5 beans of it but found that one in only 2 thank you sir...

Estimated flower time?

Estimated flower time?

I’m curious as to what I should expect for a flower time for this strain? The smell is really getting pungent and the buds are starting to form colas.

Tomorrow is 30 days in.

63 is good 70 is what I do.
Do not pull at 7-8 even though they look done.
As long as yer not locked out there is a final "puff" sometime after 8. Like a popcorn kernel popping.

However if you grew a "runt" sour b leaner 8 is good.

First picture is the 45 day and second picture is 49 days. Currently at 51 days and I checked the trick mess and I’d say I’m seeing 3-5% amber. I don’t normally go over 15% every in the past.

63 days is going to put me at 25% maybe.

Tony, when you go 63-70 days what % amber do u typically see then?

Oh I just clipped a bunch of fan leaves that were blocking so the budsites can get more light.

smokin back some doobs from 3 different Pine Tar Gush plants I recently harvested.
Well worth the garden space. Great flavors and 2 are nice daytime smoke and the other more of an evening on the couch kind of smoke. Not couch lock weed persay, just more hit to the body than the other two. The 2 are very gassy/fuelly with strong piney gas to the flavor. Smaller flowers on those two but literally bud sites everywhere. Those two were a bit more viney but super branchy. The harder hitter yielding well and grew more like the typical gorilla bubble plants and very similar flavor but with a bit of piney sweetness on top. Oddly, the yielder was faster to finish and was cloudy/ambering at 58 days... chopped at 60. The other 2 chopped at 70.
Will be growing again !!

got some GB Bx3 , Gorilla Thug (biker x GBBx2) and antenna's Gorilla Banana all about 3 weeks or so from seed. Too early here to put outside yet so they are getting their legs under a 1000w before they go to the greenhouse. I'm legal for 56 plants outside so I'm gonna make use of every bit of that plant count hehehe
