Dozer and Hammerhead send there condolences. Keep his memory. I have lost a few pets and I remember them all. They all gave the love with no expectations. I still miss all my pets.

Its a sad day at the Babba house,we lost one of cats last night, another animal got him we are guessing. He didnt show up this morning and we found some clumps of hair in the yard. He was really close to Babba and hes hurtin today, everywhere he went chicken[thats the cats name] went also.
He will be missed like crazy, its been a tough day.

when you are missing a 4 legged friend it helps to hear from the two legged type.
if they did not give you so much pleasure there would be no pain when you lose them ....... remember the good days.
greenmatter, as I sit here and read this thread, I shed the same tears of pain that you have. The grief of losing "mans' best friend" can be unbearable - for me at least. That's why i hate reading threads like this because I shed tears for EVERYBODY that's lost one of their babies.
Just remember, all dogs - and cats(this one's for you MrsB) go to Heaven, and you'll see your precious ones again. Peace.

sorry to post so late....This was a tough one to read. it touched my heart and made my eyes leek.Ive lost a few pets so I know how you feel and know the decision you had to make was excrusiating (ex crew she ating).you did right by Max in that moment and Max knows that. my condolences to you again greenmatter.
